-King is bullied out of FC and heads to Benton Central.  First time he’s not been in our conference for 25 years on the dot. Who do we all hate now? Only coach with a state title run left is Crabtree.

- FC thinks they are getting Earl since King was pushed out, only to be left with nothing, as he will be hired on at NV in the next 30 days. What morons.

-Crabtree takes a bigger job and ends his career making a run at a bigger program.

-Seeger has no coach.

-Kevin Allen gets on Riverton school board, he’s a mouthpiece but this isn’t good for other WRC schools, their facilities will be second to none with his connections. &nbsp

-Rector returns to PH after a turnaround season.

-I may end up wearing a panther visor as I’m not being brought back to help with our junior high program at PH. Will Sanders and Kevin allow me to install some spread?

-Will Nick Wheeler be leaving North Central to join a WRC school?

Wild times.

I wonder who will be in the running for FC’s opening? Maybe the DC will throw his name in the hat.

Is he the one whose father is on the school board? Sounds like he’s ready to be a head coach! Should be an easy 5-0 vote to give him the job.

You’re pretty sensitive for a lineman. Must be the kicker thing

King leaving (or being forced out) was probably a couple years overdue. I can’t believe he’s going to give it another try at Benton Central. Best of luck to him

Crabtree hasn’t left so maybe Earl leaves for FC? Either way wherever he ends up they will get a solid coach

Crabtree does not leave for a bigger school

Rumor I’m hearing is that Earl has also applied at Seeger and they want to get him bad

Kevin Allen is a huge reason for the Panthers success and that will continue for a long time

Rector should keep Bettis around to help him with the spread offense because that’s what they need to be running from now on. If they don’t I don’t see rector lasting much longer

I’m taking my sources over yours WRC.

-Why did King need to go? Ended the season out scoring the Wolves 150-0 and had a winning record with an injury plagued squad. People think they can coach until they have to buddy up to the headset!

-Crabtree is going to a 3A darkhorse who might end up being a huge 5A program in the near future.

-Earl isn’t leaving NV, Marty Brown promised the NV legend the world to come back. Gotta apply and interview incase all hell breaks loose. Is Earl calling the o or d under Crabtree? Is he the most hyped hire in a long long time?

-Austin Petrillo is coaching at SMWC, someone needs to find him a teaching job and get him on their staff best leader I have ever coached. Amazing young man.

-One thing I think we all overlook in this conference is the importance in having a good staff. It’s not about calling plays. If you aren’t fundamentally sound, it doesn’t matter how fancy your play calling is.

Where did Crabtree go?

Nowhere yet, but I know from a credible source he’s getting calls and I’m prettt sure he’s an empty nester now, time for a move and make one final run in the flip flops!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Worst case scenario for FC and best case scenario for BC

Herb turned that program around. I refuse to believe they forced him out. It’s so fitting for him to take the WORST job in the state of Indiana. This will only add to his legacy as he will take a team on the 20+ game losing streak and win at least 4 games in his first year. They’re be a winning program within 4 years.

Can anyone tell me where I can find some BC gear!?

I can neither confirm nor deny…but some might say “That’s the one!”

So much wrong with these statements.

First off, visors aren't allowed on RP sidelines. Neither are polo shirts. State law...

And you said spread, at RP, lol

FC - Will hire internal DC or Earl and finish 2nd in the conference next year, ahead of the 2025 team

Seeger - Cronk or bust.

NV - Three-man race if/when Crabtree leaves soon.  Robbie, Joe or Earl

PH - Will finish 2nd or 3rd in the conference next year and finish again with a winning record, but unrealistic parents and parental pressure will squeeze Rector hard, despite winning.

RP - Sanders becomes the most hated coach in the WRC based simply upon winning and kids transferring there to win.  Biggest question for RP in 2026 will be who replaces SP in the sectional.  (......... RP OC sitting in his chair smiling at comments about running the spread...... "We only run spread in scout team")

SV - Cory will continue to build his young group.  His biggest challenge will be keeping them from leaving to RP or TH South

Attica - Would love to see Coach Dean stay and build, but I also believe he's good enough and one good offer from going back to South Put or another top school

Covington  -  My 2026 sleeper for the WRC.   Skilled kids returning and a favorable schedule to start strong.

-Riverton ran a ton of spread when they had price, hazzard, ect. Didn’t have to this year, but would have been nice if they could have spread the field a little and ran the exact same run concepts with less guys in the box. Atleast that what’s chat GPT tells me when I looked it up.

-A pick play would have been nice on 4th down in overtime vs South Put from the 4 yard line instead of a 2 man route when they were in man coverage with a safety sitting at 6 yards, but hell what do I know?!

I was being a smartellic*{is that a real word?) mentioning cronk coming back to Seeger.  Is there legitimacy to that? I’m sure he’s got some little red headed grandsons running around now that are getting close to HS.

Has a good gig at Purdue and a good gig at Jeff.

Seeger hasn’t been the same since I kicked a last second field goal to beat Brian Moore after he won 43 WRC games in a row in 2007, I single handedly destroyed their program and I remind Coach Moore of it often. I even made him resign and move back to his Alma mater. glory days.

If they hire the DC there is no shot at them doing better than they did this year.

Any coach going to FC next year has their work cut out for them.

I’ll call you next time. You’re clearly never busy the first weekend in November.

Lighten up coach I was just saying to bear that it’s not beneficial to be one dimensional, last time I was busy first week of November is winning a sectional at your place….

I did tell Brad and Kevin to have a RB screen ready for south put coming off your power toss look. Sadly they didn’t listen to me.

The Ponies need a big hire, and there’s some other names floating around besides Earl. He’s not a lock for the North Vermilions job either.

1. I don’t see early leaving for 1 year to return to exactly where he came from. They should just go ahead and hire their DC. Keep it within the program.

2. Not sure who Cronk is so I’m not really going to touch on it.
3. it’s earls job. I don’t think there is even any question. If they wanted to hire Robbie or Joe, they would have done it after Crabtree left the first time. I think with Marty retiring sooner rather than later, Joe will take over as AD. They may stay around to coach but I don’t see them getting it. Where does Crabtree go? I’ve seen a 3A school that could be a powerhouse but that doesn’t give me a school to look towards.

4. I like Rector. You gave him a full year with those kids(Minus his first couple growing years and his deployment) and he did well. I believe they were ranked. But, is rector the one Schelsky wants his kid to play from and does Rector have the big time connections for him? Not sure. He will be there this year but not sure about next.
5. RP wins conference again. Depending on where RP goes in the Sectional, they may make a decent run.

6. Could be up or down, I see them building this year from last as every team will in the second year under a new coach.
7. Coach Dean, please stay. You got a good future ahead. Keep bringing kids in and teaching them. You have brought Attica a long way.

8. I have no clue what Covington is returning and who they lost. I’m at a loss this early until I start doing some more research.

The last thing FC needs is anyone on the current staff to be head coach and I’ll say it right to his dad’s face!

You can find him on maxpreps when you look up Rockville. Funny thing, he doesn't have one offensive stat recorded. Made a lot of extra points, and averaged 2 tackles a game on defense, but nothing for offense.

Let's not forget he played under the legendary Coach King. He was a great offensive lineman. Sadly lineman don't usually record many stats.
