Miami over Ohio State

At the minimum, take them to cover the 9.5 point spread.

It is very rare I root for Ohio State, but this is one of those times. Hoping the Carson Beck from the Louisville game is the one who shows up for Miami.

I think USC came in with the best band game plan.

The band was RELENTLESS tonight and flawless in their execution but it just wasn’t enough to pull out the victory.

I think you are going to see an angry OSU tonight. With the long layoff, they may need a couple of series…

On one hand, I think you are probably right. But................if they let their guard down, even for a little bit, this Miami team with a chip on their shoulder is more than capable of taking them out.

I'd be more than happy to take Miami to cover the spread in this one.

I don’t know about this take. I really think the Buckeyes are going to be angry and Miami is going to get freight trained. IU beat Ohio State, but only scored 13 points on that defense. No way do I see Miami scoring 21+ points on them and I think the Buckeyes get at least 30 points so I would take Ohio State to cover

Goes back a long time....with the old ND Miami rivalry. Plus, I want it proven they are overrated.

Ahhh..........I get it, as any Notre Dame fan would. I just think they are better than what some are giving them credit for. Their first ding is that they are in the ACC. Their second ding was some less than impressive games mid-season. But they've been playing on fire ever since the first playoff rankings came out. Needless to say it bothered them to be ranked behind the Irish. They have something to prove.

Have to say I am shocked how dominant Miami was. OSU kept making plays that made you think, ok, they have settled down. i thought too at the end of the 3rd that OSU was going to win it.

Miami has played pissed ever since the first week of the CFPS show.

Not a fan of the bye week. Having a tune-up game is a major advantage. Indiana could suffer the same fate. The NCAA gives you a 4 week vacation than says "perform." Oh yeah, and "the team you're playing had a warmup game a week ago." Just something else to shake your head at I guess. The NCAA has turned into a total train wreck. Time to move on to the NFL.

Still surprised. Guess committee made the right call with Miami. They are rolling. 
 

Mixed emotions. Can’t stand Ohio State, but hate seeing the Big 10 go down. All on the shoulders of IU and Oregon now. 

Bye teams now 0-5 in the CFP.  OSU drops to 0-3 on New Year’s Eve historically.
