Bloomington South 54 Greenfield Central 0 (final)

With neither team looking to run plays quickly with a running clock, the second half was over with in a flash. South outscored GC, 14-0, in the last half.

Westfield 36

Hamilton Southeatern 7

Fourth quarter played entirely with a running clock, as Westfield scored on the last play of the 3rd quarter to make it 36-0  Reserves finished up the game on both sides.

Next week, probably the game of the year so far. Westfield at Brownburg. Both teams score a lot of points. Defense and turnovers will probably determine the game. Most won't give Westfield a chance. I say they are due to finally slay the dragon.

Cathedral 51, Southport 0, final.  It was 51-0 at halftime and the Irish played everyone that dressed in the 2nd half.  It's a shame that a school of the size doesn't have many football players.  That's one nice facility down there too!

From what I've read, the large change in the makeup of the student population does not include many kids that ever play football. It wasn't all that lonb ago that Southport fielded very competitive teams.

Coach Peebs had a competitive team at Southport in the past.   It also was a powerhouse back in my early days.  I saw many games down there, especially when they player Manual or Washington.  Perry Meridian hasn't been very good in the recent past either.
