So fair and equitable athletic competition is not important?

Not as important as allowing discrimination is. It's too slippery of a slope.

It is just one more example of unneeded legislation promoting government bloat and over reach.

Why can't they have a transgender team face another transgender team?

From what I've read, there's only one transgender athlete in the entire state.

When the IHSAA President spoke in a committee hearing, he claimed that just one person in the 10 years the policy has been in place filed the documentation needed.

Sounds to me like this law wasn't even needed. If anything it will potentially drive businesses from coming here.
