All Great People for sure

Though Johnny and I would laugh when Kiger, was hurt, IGOE was QB against Sheridan and we joked his 7 INT he threw that game to the Safety at Sheridan made him All State.  haha for the record, Sweigart from Sheridan was already a All State caliber player.   He let it rip though, it was fun, just tough to do against such a quality team that night.

Well, the OC wasn't the only problem for the Boilers.  It's a shame to watch how far they've fallen, and I'm not really a Boiler fan.  Coach Walters has to held accountable for this abysmal season.

sad, my football boilers have made me football sad......

Brohm Corp was entertaining and competitive......

This.....well.....this has been a colossal failure so far

I didn't even bother watching. I didn't think it could ever get worse than the Hazel years, yet here we are. And for what? Because Walters took a job as DC at Illinois, was given some NFL talent, and his defense looked good against crappy Big Ten West offenses. Purdue hired a defensive minded coach and his defenses are absolutely abysmal. Good stuff.

Switching topics, I watched a little of the A&M / Missouri game. Nic Scourton is an absolute monster. I can see why he's projected as a 1st rounder. I was originally pissed that he bailed on Purdue and went back to Texas considering, per 247, SMU was the best instate offer he received in HS. But, it's impossible to blame the kid for turning down A&M NIL money to stay and play for a likely winless team in B1G play.

I believe the actual story is the kid stepped away for personal reasons, that's what the article of that link says, not sure why author said dismissed to infer kicked off

I hope Purdue follows the path they took with this guy and IU took with Cig. Find an adult who has proven he can create a culture and is good at scheming.

Very similar take that you had with Cignetti talking. Tiller came to Indy for an IFCA meeting with his staff. It does not take long to figure out that some coaches have it. Had the same experience with Bill Mallory.

Which begs the question is Brock Spack ready for the Power 5 or has he not accomplished enough at Illinois State?

HUGE fan of Brock’s. He is a great clinician too by the way. Part of me thinks some guys are just happy where they are, and he may be one of them.

By all things measured, this is only gonna get uglier......

And now...

...QB1 Hudson Card is out!  Then again, could be good because I really want to see what Marcos Davila can do...

It better be a really big rabbit!  The Boilers are massive underdogs again this week, and will probably have a tough time covering.

competitive

Walters calling the O and D, was interesting, but seemed to ignite O

Talent evaluations of the current staff is nowhere NEAR previous.......which is what you saw in the QB change albeit injury, but still.  Brohm LOVED Browne coming out of HS, just saying

Young man really balled. Over 400 yds total O and 3 TD’s….
