I loved seeing him go through he's progressions on the early 3rd & 12 and throw a dart to Moore for a 1st down. The throw to Kmet on the roll out was a freaking laser. Coach Nowlin
Yeah that was his showcase of that arm and I don't know if you saw the Brian Ballenger play breakdown or not but they try to confuse them and drop into a different coverage and they were squeezing Keenan Allen in the middle of the field with the two safeties and that's when he merely turn it rifled the little curl two moore right at the sticks But the throw he made to Kmet was nasty Caught a break get a legal contact on a ball that could have easily been intercepted. Pretty outstanding start for the youngster The Bears defensive line now going on to two preseason games looks to be really talented and deep

Pretty outstanding start for the youngster The Bears defensive line now going on to two preseason games looks to be really talented and deep Yes, I saw the Baldinger breakdown. It was impressive for sure. Instead of tucking and running when Allen was squeezed he quickly went to his next progression and hit Moore with a 1st down throw. And he made it look easy. It was a sight for sore eyes after watching Mitch and Justin struggle so much with going through their reads. The D-Line is looking really good, which is a huge plus. I'm hoping Gervon can have a breakout year at the 3. He put the work in over the offseason to transform his body to be leaner and quicker. He did the same conditioing drills as the DE's. Coach Nowlin
Interesting NOTE: Bears and Falcons both were willing to send 3rd round picks to Pats for JUDON......but Falcons were the winners as PATS believe the Bears pick will be lower of the 2 in the 3rd round. 🙂 I like that....... But KING POLES is on the HUNT for another DE and I understand it: Trey Hendrickson ? Lawson just signed with the Cowboys https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/_/year/2024/status/available/position/de/sort/contract_value
Coach Nowlin
Another OUTSTANDING outing for Bears and especially development of CW, made plays off scheduled, used his unique skill set to avoid, threw an absolute bucket shot off 1 leg 40 yards, rush TD, all after a slow slow start. Applaud FLUS and Crew not bailing and getting them an opportunity to make some production plays....... OR maybe FLUS playing Chess and told Waldren to tank the 1st 2 drives to showcase the Manbeast Punter !!! 😆

OR maybe FLUS playing Chess and told Waldren to tank the 1st 2 drives to showcase the Manbeast Punter !!! 😆 Haha. The punter is living up to the hype. Very impressive. That 40 yard throw to Odunze was unreal. Rolling to the left and throwing accross his body on the run, yet still perfect ball placement for Rome down the sideline. The TD that would have been had Odunze checked his foot placement was a nice improv play. I like that CW is looking to throw when he scrambles outside of the pocket. I have a feeling he'll throw a lot of picks this year figuring out what he can get away with. Probably not as bad as Mannings rookie year as the Bears won't abondon the run. Per Poles, the plan was to ony play the starters 1 quarter. Thankfully, Flus made the decision to play through the 2nd quarter considering the offense had a slow start.

Something IMO he has yet to be able to experience What A dummy statement this one, by this guy On 2/13/2024 at 2:20 PM, Coach Nowlin said: Quite a wild scenarios that could play out in Chicago This much I do know, if anything is leaked out of Chicago Hallas hall its because Poles wants it out there, other than that, Bears Brass is pretty darn good at the cloak and dagger under POLES, unlike PACE who was buffooned into bidding against himself in the infamous Tribusky draft. August 2024, I believe Fields to be a Pittsburgh Steeler August 2024, I believe Bears to have Caleb Williams but as I have stated, I believe in Ryan Poles over everything, so if he decides to move off the #1 and trade down and keep and Fields or even extend him then im in and lets go and coach him up Nailed that one On 3/4/2024 at 8:17 AM, Bobref said: For me, it’s difficult to be objective about Caleb Williams since he’s from USC. But there are an awful lot of red flags popping up. Either way, it’s time for the Bears to fish or cut bait. Deals are getting done. Free agency starts in a week, and the Bears are losing leverage in the Fields trade market. Still see any red flags? On 3/5/2024 at 5:55 AM, Bobref said: That would be great … but I’ll believe it when I see it. Until then, I’m not pinning my hopes on a guy who paints messages to opponents on his fingernails, refused to provide medical information … or do anything at the combine, and has come up small in many big games. That is especially true when he comes from that place out of California. When you think about the haul in draft capital they could get for trading that pick … we’ll, he’s going to have to be awfully good awfully soon to justify passing that up. Have you heard where and why that started with his fashion choice of Nail Paint? Coach Nowlin
it wasn't meant for a tone of I was right your take was wrong, just wondering if the narrative now has changed from what you've seen (if you have seen enough to see) I have been blown away maybe because of access of hard knocks, but listening to him break things down and seeing how Waldren ( yes a guy who understands how to move pickets and qbs ) has worked his offense into his skill sets it exciting.....plus the weapons galore. There will be many head scratching choices Caleb will make for sure, some clunkers, absolutely, but just don't see a path for "bust" or in over his head Real Season indeed will be fun

Everyone knew he had the tools....I just questioned his leadership and choices to put himself in the public limelight via social media. I questioned if he could really be the face of a franchise and lead vets in a locker room. So far, he has been outstanding on and off the field. Hope he is successful...I don't wish "bust" on anyone, and it would be nice to see the Bears have an excellent QB...for a change. 😉
