WolvesOnTheProwl Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Mishawaka still scrimmage Concord? I wonder if they'll continue that scrimmage when the Cavemen move to the NLC? Penn vs Crown Point used to scrimmage but not sure Quote
SBFootballFan6 Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Good luck to all tonight. Still interested in your all thoughts on how you see season playing out. Look forward to hearing recaps on all the conference games today. Quote

Penn @ Crown Point and Concord @ Mishawaka Quote
johnny U Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Mishawaka and Washington will be scrimmaging next year. Quote
johnny U Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 How did some of the NIC team look last night at the scrimmiage. I am curious as to who the q-back will be at Saint Joseph. Quote
MarshallCounty Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 From what I was told Bremen handled Goshen fairly well. Played Fairfield even, Fairfield ran a triple option that gave the defense fits. The Lions have a young team with a sophomore QB, he has a let to learn. This is a team that may start slow, but will get better as the season progresses. Quote
NPFan Posted August 17, 2019 Author Posted August 17, 2019 New Prairie went to Michigan City. Radtke never really shows much at these scrimmages and subs guys in and out quite a bit to get a look at a lot of different situations. The offense looked pretty solid the little the first group was in. Defense may take a little time to come together. Quote

NRRaider2001 Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Central looked good against Northwood, especially Brownlee, didn't see their offense against Northridge, but Northridge was moving the ball pretty well when they had the lightning delay. Quote

Their QB is a big dude at like 220 lbs and their RB moves good for a bigger guy too. Aggressive fast defense as well. But speed certainly isn’t anything new for City. Coach Mason and staff do a good job adding accountability and discipline. Quote

Not attempting to hijack the NIC thread, but I'm very excited that the Tigers have picked up Michigan City in the non-conference schedule. After reading that statement though... might be a little concerned about this year's trip to Ames Field! Quote
