What's that nonsense Tecumseh has behind the T? Are they the flaming Ts? ETA: What's with all these teams changing from royal blue to navy blue? Heritage Hills first did it with football a long time ago, then other sports at HH followed. Now it seems Tecumseh is getting away from its royal blue roots.

They're excellent later on, no doubt.

Fountain Centrals doesn’t have a JV after a 4 year rebuild -
I just posted in another thread: This early in the season, the computer ratings are not reliable. I have all the actual game results since 1999. Sagarin reaches peak accuracy after 4-5 games. Then it starts predicting over 80-percent correctly (88% correct since 1999).

I know you're just passing along info.... but Sagarin polls aren't too good for a while.

Can't forget those JV touchdowns in the 4th quarter to kill the spread! -
If implemented in the late 90s, Roncalli would've gone to 4A first (in 2000) -- Zionsville might have already been 4A, then Heritage Hills in 2002, then Chatard in (2003)... Those Chatard-Roncalli sectional matchups in 4A would've likely prevented both from going to 5A (the largest class at the time). Reitz and East Central could've ended up in 5A in the mid-2000s.

Itll be 19 points after the first 8 minutes -
Yes past performance does factor into Sagarin ratings. Strength-of-schedule, margin-of-victory, opponents' strength-of-schedule, etc...
-
37 points is huge... 14.5 points makes you get more than two TDs... bettors would love it. This early in the season, the computer ratings are not reliable. I have all the actual game results since 1999. Sagarin reaches peak accuracy after 4-5 games. Then it starts predicting over 80-percent correctly (88% correct since 1999).

Fountain Central @ Riverton Parke - RP brought a kid off the bench last week that was most likely sharing numbers with another underclassmen and he scored 3 TD's. Pope #2A adds to a backfield of McConnell and Collom making RP even more dangerous and we haven't seen any sign of Lesniak yet, right? Did anyone else watch this game online and see RP in spread most of the night? Billy? Is that your influence? RP pulls the dudes early to stay healthy and get reps for the B team RP 45- FC 7 North Vermillion @ Covington - Just when we thought Covington scheduled cupcake stat stuffers to start the season, their late add game was tougher than we all thought. The Trojans athletes' flex their muscle in this one. Covington 35 - NV 13 Seeger @ Attica - Hey, Hey what do you say!! The Patriots are back and slinging the ball around the field. If they keep this up, they'll be a tough out for any WRC team. Salts is a dude!! Seeger 55 Attica 12 South Vermillions @ The Woofs. - I'm not saying this is a must win for either team or coach, but both teams have aspirations of finishing top 3 in the conference, and this game would go a long way to getting there. In a tough game to call, I always take the best player on the field and that is Burgess from PH. Woofs 28 SV 20 -

FC @ RP - Will anyone give the Panthers a close game this year? That Tri team was no push over. This may truly be the Panthers year. The qb #13 and rb #17 might be the best backfield we have seen in some time. Panthers by as much as they want. NV @ Covington - Covington's qb will be the best athlete on the field and he'll show that all night. Covington will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss last week and I think they come out firing. Covington 31-12 Seeger @ Attica - Seeger by as much as they want. The Pats are slinging the ball around and I love it. I think he is the most accurate in the WRC. Look for the same things this week. SV @ PH - Only game that will be close and I think PH has the potential to make it not close. I think the Wolves will dominate up from but can they slow down the athletes at SV? I think it will be back and fourth in the first half but the Wildcats can only take the beating for so long before they roll over. Wolves 35-21 In terms of who the best qb in the conference is I think there are a couple that look promising when it comes to passing Salts from Seeger, Bishop from Covington, Shryock from SV aren't too bad In terms of running it from the qb position its no doubt McConell from RP, Foxworthy from FC and Bishop from Covington -

I get it, everybody wants to win, everybody get frustrated, they want what's best for their players, but we're grown men. We always tell our guys at the youth level until they start handing out state championships for 3rd and 4th grade then we are going to continue to 1. Make sure each kid gets to play offense and defense every game. 2. Kids are starting to learn the basics of our offensive and defensive system within the rules of the league. 3. Make sure kids are learning proper tackling technique and making the game as safe as it can be for them and their opponents. Sad to see grown men letting their emotions get the better of them.
