Stick a fork in us. We are a terrible team in a terribly uninteresting conference. 0 Interesting games this week and maybe one or two the entire conference season (PennvsElkhart) (ElkhartvsStJoe). Why Penn keeps wanting to participate in this conference is beyond me

Change New Prairies to a Navy Blue facemask and chinstrap

North Miami @ North Judson- Jays win big Triton @ South Central- This may be the only opportunity for either team to get a win this year. Give me the Satellites after the drubbing the Trojans took from Culver last week. Culver @ Winamac- Crazy to see what happens when Winamac plays a non MWC team... Warriors bounce back this week over the Cavs. Pioneer @ Caston- Caston is much improved from last year. Their defense is flying around and their massive o-line is paving the way for their backs. Pioneer will have to play a clean game on both sides of the ball to win. I think the Panthers pull out a close on in Fulton.

Friday should be a really good game. Cathedral offense starting to show some life as they are riding a big time win in Cincy vs St. X. Chatard pounded Roncalli but believe they enter Friday's contest down a key player.

Yeah, that's rough for sure. Lot of gallons of diesel fuel for that bus.

Jays Trojans Warriors Panthers Congrats to all the winners last week. Culver! Great win. Caston Comets will be a tough out for most! North Judson and Pioneer might struggle to be tested before week 9. Great programs who look good again and again

Thoughts on these helmets? Do they match what the teams are wearing this season? Any input is appreciated!

Thoughts on these helmets? Main thing is: are they accurate to what teams are wearing in 2026? Appreciate any input.

Conference play kicks off this week. Takeaways from first three out-of-conference weeks. Top tier: Knox, Tippy Valley, Bremen Knox: Post Myles era has started off 0-3. No longer the heavy conference favorite. Solid strength of schedule with their opening three games and Radtke will always figure out a way to keep his team competitive. Huge game right off the bat this week with TV will go long way into determining conference. Tippy Valley: Solid football team that was supposed to drop off from last year, but Iād say theyāre actually a better overall team this year. Played right with powerhouse Adamās Central right until 4 mins left in 4th quarter. Bremen: The turnaround might be here a year earlier than many thought. Really weak opening three opponents, but they did what a good team is supposed to do against lower level opponents. Last week of season against Tippy may be for the conference. Bottom Tier: Jimtown: Better than last year, but still a little behind Knox, TV, and what looks to be a surging Bremen. Glenn: See Jimtown, but further behind Jimtown. Laville: Thacker implementing the flex bone triple option is going to take a minute. Laville is the perfect fit for him and that style. Week 4 games: Tippecanoe Valley @ Knox Laville @ Bremen Jimtown @ Glenn

Carroll at Dwenger...Saints defense has been great all year, but the Chargers offense is a different beast. Last year this game was won via special teams, and I think BD still has some work to do on that end...Chargers by 3 North Side at Concordia....This North Side team is exactly what they always are, lots of natural talent but undisciplined, unorganized, and poorly coached. Lucky for them this is a matchup where athletes will over power their opponent...Legends by 20 South Side at Luers...historically Luers would go through a meat grinder of a schedule, enter the post-season with 2/3 wins and then dominate 2A/3A. They won't have that luxury this year in 4A, South has been frisky this season could be a sneaky good game...Luers by 10 Homestead at Northrop...if Carroll/Dwenger game shows us the top of the SAC, this game helps us determine who is 3 and 4, and honestly I don't know which is which. I'm skeptical of both teams still, but I think Nothrop's skill guys are the difference...Bruins by 6 Snider at Wayne...Snider gets back to .500....Panthers by 30

This is a mythical P/P traveling "trophy" between all private and parochial schools in Indiana. Because we have to pick a starting date, I have chosen 1999 because Roncalli went 15-0, beat Chatard twice, Scecina, and Brebeuf. The previous season, Roncalli also beat Chatard, Cathedral, and Scecina with no losses to P/P schools. A lot of extensive research went into this by hand. I used AI to double check the results and I'm 99.9999% this is the correct path that the "trophy" has traveled. This makes the first defense of the trophy on Week 1 of 2000 (August 18): Week 1, 2000: Brebeuf 7, Roncalli 0 Week 3, 2000: Providence 19, Brebeuf 16 Week 3, 2001: Providence 22, Brebeuf 21 Week 3, 2002: Providence 17, Brebeuf 13 Week 3, 2003: Providence 24, Brebeuf 14 Week 3, 2004: Brebeuf 31, Providence 0 Week 4, 2004: Brebeuf 21, Scecina 7 Week 5, 2004: Brebeuf 40, Culver Academy 13 Week 6, 2004: Brebeuf 49, Heritage Christian 0 Week 7, 2004: Brebeuf 24, Ritter 21 Week 9, 2004: Roncalli 21, Brebeuf 6 Week 12, 2004: Roncalli 17, Cathedral 16 (sectional final) Week 3, 2005: Chatard 14, Roncalli 7 Week 4, 2005: Cathedral 33, Chatard 15 Week 12, 2005: Roncalli 16, Cathedral 12 (sectional final) Week 3, 2006: Chatard 41, Roncalli 7 Week 4, 2006: Cathedral 20, Chatard 14 Week 6, 2006: Roncalli 14, Cathedral 13 Week 10, 2006: Cathedral 28, Roncalli 0 (sectional) Week 4, 2007: Cathedral 21, Chatard 7 Week 6, 2007: Cathedral 31, Roncalli 0 Week 10, 2007: Cathedral 42, Roncalli 7 (sectional) Week 4, 2008: Cathedral 15, Chatard 14 Week 7, 2008: Cathedral 17, Roncalli 3 Week 10, 2008: Cathedral 21, Roncalli 8 (sectional) Week 15, 2008: Cathedral 10, Dwenger 7 (state) Week 4, 2009: Cathedral 31, Chatard 7 Week 6, 2009: Cathedral 55, Roncalli 10 Week 4, 2010: Cathedral 40, Chatard 14 Week 6, 2010: Cathedral 41, Roncalli 10 Week 12, 2010: Cathedral 48, Roncalli 7 (sectional final) Week 15, 2010: Cathedral 31, Dwenger 20 (state) Week 4, 2011: Cathedral 21, Chatard 14 Week 5, 2011: Cathedral 42, Dwenger 3 Week 10, 2011: Cathedral 20, Roncalli 13 (sectional) Week 4, 2012: Chatard 21, Cathedral 7 Week 5, 2012: Ritter 56, Chatard 33 Week 8, 2012: Ritter 36, Scecina 18 Week 9, 2012: Ritter 55, Park Tudor 0 Week 14, 2012: Ritter 49, Mater Dei 14 (semistate) Week 15, 2012: Luers 40, Ritter 28 (state) Week 6, 2013: Concordia 17, Luers 14 Week 9, 2013: Concordia 34, Brebeuf 27 Week 12, 2013: Concordia 42, Luers 21 (sectional final) Week 6, 2014: Luers 52, Concordia 27 Week 1, 2015: Luers 28, Dwenger 15 Week 5, 2015: Luers 42, Concordia 35 Week 4, 2016: Concordia 34, Luers 16 Week 6, 2016: Concordia 28, Dwenger 21 Week 12, 2016: Concordia 45, Luers 22 Week 4, 2017: Concordia 28, Luers 7 Week 6, 2017: Dwenger 27, Concordia 0 Week 7, 2017: Dwenger 15, Luers 14 Week 6, 2018: Dwenger 36, Concordia 13 Week 7, 2018: Dwenger 15, Luers 13 Week 6, 2019: Dwenger 33, Concordia 14 Week 7, 2019: Dwenger 47, Luers 0 Week 6, 2020: Dwenger 38, Concordia 12 Week 7, 2020: Dwenger 43, Luers 6 Week 6, 2021: Dwenger 45, Concordia 10 Week 7, 2021: Luers 41, Dwenger 38 Week 4, 2022: Luers 41, Concordia 14 Week 7, 2022: Dwenger 17, Luers 12 Week 7, 2023: Luers 29, Dwenger 28 Week 14, 2023: Luers 28, Central Catholic 7 (semistate) Week 5, 2024: Luers 38, Concordia 0 Week 7, 2024: Dwenger 8, Luers 0 Week 9, 2024: Dwenger 41, Concordia 7 Week 1, 2025: Roncalli 3, Dwenger 0 Week 3, 2025: Chatard 33, Roncalli 11 Week 4, 2025: Cathedral 23, Chatard 20 NEXT TROPHY GAME Week 4, 2026: Cathedral at Chatard KEY STORYLINES All-Time Records Cathedral 20-4 Dwenger 12-8 Luers 9-11 Concordia 7-10 Brebeuf 6-6 Roncalli 5-13 Ritter 4-2 Providence 4-1 Chatard 4-9 Scecina 0-2 Heritage Christian 0-1 Mater Dei 0-1 Culver Academy 0-1 Central Catholic 0-1 Park Tudor 0-1 š Cathedral's Dynasty (2006ā2011) ā 16 consecutive defenses across 6 seasons, including two state championship trophy defenses (2008 vs Dwenger, 2010 vs Dwenger). Covington @ FC - Battle of the injuries in this one. Rumor I'm hearing is that Covington's qb hurt is knee against Poly and they are not sure if he'll be back this season. Not only has FC lost the older Foxworthy due to blowing his knee out in the summer they have now lost the younger Foxworthy too. A dirty blindside block last week on him sent him to the hospital. I think this will be a low scoring game FC 24 Covington 20 PH @ Attica - Maybe the Wolves are the real deal. They will start 3-1 for the first time since Moore left. The passing game of the Wolves has surprised me. Maybe Rector is prepping for the next couple years when he has the 8th grade qb. He'll be the best player in the conference as a freshman and would start at qb for every WRC school right now. PH by as much as they want. RP @ Seeger - Panthers started slow last week. I think most of it was from all the emotions from retiring #30. I don't see them starting slow this week. They will get out in front early. Running clock in the second half 56-14 SV @ NV - NV surprised me with last weeks win. The Hinchee kid at qb is legit and will be one of the best players in the WRC soon. SV looks to bounce back from a game it sounds like they had won until a couple late penalties. The two qbs will battle it out this week and I think SV has better athletes and will be more hungry after last week. Wildcats 28-22 -
