  3. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/06/cop-busted-for-unauthorized-use-of-clearview-ai-facial-recognition-resigns/ I guess the police union couldn't get the LEO in question an effective pardon, so he just resigned.
  4. The Coen Brothers have some other great movies. Fargo, Raising Arizona, off the wall but it has its moments, The Ladykillers, Burn After Reading may be the funniest. Still can’t believe the Academy overlooked Brad Pitt’s performance in Burn After Reading.
  5. Get back to me when you’ve seen it a minimum of 17 times, you should be starting to get it by then…..it’s a way of life.
  6. Purdue got a 3-star Tight End from Ohio yesterday. That's where the rating of recruits perplexes me. Ohio, along with California, Florida (and most southern states), Pennsylvania, and Texas have some pretty good football programs. That being said, does a 3-star by Ohio's standards equate to a higher ranking elsewhere? Have a great day and stay hydrated--gonna be a hot one today! G
  7. Trump Wants To Exempt Tips From Income Taxes. Why Stop There?: https://reason.com/2024/06/11/trump-wants-to-exempt-tips-from-income-taxes-why-stop-there/ Another empty, uni-party campaign promise.
  8. K/P Bryce Taylor of Bloomington South has committed to IU. His junior season was cut short by a broken collarbone.

  10. Muda thinks glasses are a government conspiracy.
  11. Since 99% of teams had no shot at a state title in the single class era, it wasn’t really the concern in most communities. Yea the Milan miracle was a great story, but it wasn’t really an upset story. For most communities winning the sectional gained your town/school/players a life long bragging rights locally, especially for smaller towns in a way a state title today doesn’t approach.
  12. As you know, Rod Woodson was willing to help fund a stadium for Snider many years ago and FWCS shut it down saying they wouldn’t let him in one of the most asinine decisions ever. But hey, let’s build South Side a stadium in another idiotic decision while the cow cash of Fort Wayne public high schools is forced to continue to play their games at Northrop
  13. Agree, I've seen 10 fans on a few occasions. Trust me, wondering why the top (by far) football revenue producing school in Fort Wayne just happened to be the only program without a field has always been the million dollar question. Maybe this current plan has been in the works longer than we realize. I do give credit to FWCS, they could have said, "Northrop's been your home for five decades and it will continue to be your home." Instead, not only are they building a stadium, but they are pumping 30 million in improvements to the campus. Just take it, don't look back, and savor the memories of the all gigantic games at Spuller Spuller stadium.

  16. I remember how long it took me to finally watch The Big Lebowski, after being ridiculed by several people for not seeing it. And then when I watched it, I ridiculed myself as to "why in the hell did it take so long to watch this instant classic?"
  17. I have also seen games vs. South have about 10 fans on their side. Point being, how in the Hell did they get a stadium before Snider??
  18. Spacing could very well be an issue and the reason for 4000 (which will accommodate most games). I just think the financial payback will be significant if they can find a way to squeeze in an extra 1000 (will be needed twice a year on average, sometimes once depending on the playoff run that year). Word gets around when you don't have ample seating for the visitors. They won't bother showing up, they'll stay home and watch it on the internet. To South Side's defense, I've seen 100 in the visiting stands before. They do seem to show up for their home games though.
  19. Another NBA great passes away: https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-legend-jerry-west-dies-at-age-86-134646038.html Truly one of the NBA greats, and the de-factor face of the league still today.
  20. It is a classic, just like Bama, Texas. and USC.
  21. Like Penn State's Simple Perfection. Not gaudy gold.
