  4. I get it, everybody wants to win, everybody get frustrated, they want what's best for their players, but we're grown men. We always tell our guys at the youth level until they start handing out state championships for 3rd and 4th grade then we are going to continue to 1. Make sure each kid gets to play offense and defense every game. 2. Kids are starting to learn the basics of our offensive and defensive system within the rules of the league. 3. Make sure kids are learning proper tackling technique and making the game as safe as it can be for them and their opponents. Sad to see grown men letting their emotions get the better of them.
  5. So sad that nobody landed a punch.....probably P&P guys.
  6. Today
  7. Fun fact: Chicago and Indianapolis only overlap during two weeks this year. Week 6 - Chicago at Atlanta (October 18th) Week 14 - Chicago at Miami (December 13th)
  8. Mitchell @ West Washington Paoli @ Springs Valley Perry Central @ Crawford County Charlestown @ Madison Floyd Central @ Silver Creek New Albany @ Brownstown North Harrison @ Corydon Salem @ Scottsburg
  9. Concordia at Carroll...shame these teams couldn't find other opponents, this one will be ugly...Chargers by however much they want Luers at Snider...Snider needs this win big time, should be able to get it done...Panthers by 17 Northrop at North Side...Take the over on points & penalties...North Side by 2 South Side at Homestead...South has a little moxie this year, still not ready to play at a 6A level...Homestead by 28 Wayne at Dwenger...Saints offense traveled to Ohio it seemed, how is it 2026 and I couldn't even get a radio feed of that game?!?....Saints by however much they want.
  10. I wonder what happens if they move to Indiana. I know the local market for Indy doesn't generally extend to up there, but you never know.
  11. A man who puts his b***S on the table. I like it.
  12. 13. Here is the link in plaintext: https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/1w31uz7/dads_turn_football_match_into_fight_club/?utm_source=embedv2&utm_medium=post_embed&utm_content=post_title&embed_host_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgridirondigest.net%2Findex.php From the context I gleaned from the comments to this video a youth coach witnessed another coach forcibly grabbling youth players (3rd-5th grade) by their face masks on the field during the game. This youth coach was verbally complaining to the other coach about this behavior, while on the field. After a play the coaches confronted one another, again, on the field, and we are off to the races.
  14. As well she should. A government entity like a public school corporation not accepting cash should be illegal, or at the very least un-American.
  15. Maybe North Daviess beats SV in Week 9? I am not really seeing any other losses for them... West Washington could be a solid game down the road. I've not seen Madison on film, CT was obviously unimpressive Friday-- I guess I would be pretty surprised for CT to not win this game, though. Corydon wins Brownstown will need to refocus, not read the headlines, and put head to the grindstone. We got one of our OL back this past week, and he looked good as a rotational player vs CT. Added solid depth for us. SO outside backer was back last week, he's a guy that might help the varsity down the road---- two more SR OL should be back in the coming weeks. It's too bad for Floyd the three teams you mentioned are all in the South. They might have a solid chance to win the North. Salem SB will probably be a good game.
  16. I mean Jeff is the same way troll.. .absolute troll
  17. Castle gotta be feeling good in Paradise!
  18. IFCA Poll Week 2 5A: 7. Castle 4A: 14. Reitz 3A: 1. Memorial (9) 4. Mater Dei
  19. I watched a little of the Stanford vs Hawaii game as well and also terrible attendance. I know Stanford doesn't have the same tradition as SC does for football, but attendance was ugly. Perhaps weather, perhaps season start is too early with plenty of other things to do, perhaps escalating cost of attendance, etc. are all factors. I also can't help wondering if west coast football was destroyed with the elimination of the PAC 12 conference. So much history and tradition went down the drain with teams being sent all over the place. Just not sure it will ever be the same for west coast college football.
  20. Week 3 Matchups LaVille vs. Mater Dei (-28.5) Jasper at Reitz (-14.5) Forest Park at Washington (+17.5) Mount Vernon at Gibson Southern (-31.5) North Knox at North Posey (-21.5) South Spencer at Tecumseh (-2.5) Southridge at Boonville (-16.5) Sullivan at Northview (+7.5) Vincennes at West Vigo (0) Linton at Indy Lutheran (-6.5) --- Week 2 Standings @gonzoron 12 @IUFAN- 10 @Cappy 9 @JQWL 7 @SPARKS 6
  21. Predictions all over the place for that matchup, wonder why Harrell thinks it will be a close matchup. Maybe it’s a neutral field game on a Saturday at noon?
  22. What cracks me up is people posting highlights of youth games on their socials. I see even see it with some schools aRound heRe ... (IYKYK)
  23. I paid $7.90 as well via Event Link at Zionsville on Friday night. My wife sometimes works the gates. Oh man, she gets an earful from the old timers who pull up with only cash in the pocket.
  24. As Sir Charles Barkley once said, "I don't know nuthing' about LaVille, but LaVille is in trouble." Or maybe he was talking about Angola... LOL.
  25. That's a BIG line. You think Mater Dei will score 35 points?
  26. Good enough to beat LaVille by 35...
  27. Thankfully, there are bars and restaraunts around Indy that cater to Bears fans. But, yeah, it's annoying that I pretty much know I'm not getting the Bears on Fox59 or CBS4 if the Colts are on at the same time. Otherwise, I feel like the Indy stations will typically televise the Bears.
