  1. Past hour
  2. The Glee Club??? Like they gonna have a club dedicated to a tv show!
  3. We get it. You believed the punishment fit the crime, maybe it was possibly a little lenient.
  4. Today
  5. I think everyone expects a drop from the past 3 years, but the Flying Jets will be solid for a year or 2 before possibly having to "reload". The upcoming season's Seniors through Sophmores have talent & a gritty fight to them. The freshman to 6th grade classes need some development as they've had weaker records in MS & youth. Bluffton will be challenging & possibly overtake the Jets in the near future, especially those Freshmen through 6th grade. They have a kid that will be MS (unless they finally verified his age) that is a monster offensively & defensively. He was on their middle of the road team. They had a strong team of 5th & 6th graders he wasn't on besides a weaker one that was still decent. They had some influence from Norwell's 99 state finals alums.
  6. It was incredibly unprofessional conduct by a journalist. Giving heart signs to a female basketball player then compounding it with what he said. You can't do that as the "columnist of record" for the Star.
  7. This is true....this kid can do just about whatever they ask him, but I am not sure he will be challenged with those things.
  8. The kid can do anything they ask him...they just need to ask him to do the right things. I'm not so worried about the whole route tree as I am route combinations and reads designed to defeat the defense rather than trying to beat the defense with athleticism alone. None of our QBs over the past 12 years can even tell you what a route tree is.
  9. Will we next be getting updates on the glee club? Back on topic…no excuse for less than 10 wins and a playoff berth with this upcoming Irish schedule.
  10. They play in the NCC, just an average league. Lowell isn't the same Lowell.
  11. Yeah, the dude can fling a 9 route as good as anybody, and if you cover Ruxer to close early in the route you are getting burnt. That only works once against a good team if at all, so not terribly useful. I'm not sure that what you are saying will be "developed" this fall or the next. I'd be surprised due to his ability on his legs, the answer will be "why throw when he can run". He isn't what Jay was on his legs (I've never seen anything like Jay in high school in person), but Jett has a couple years yet--obviously we are all hoping he will surpass Jay. It appears that he may lack some size--he is only 16 though.
  12. Dude got a restraining order against him, lol. "I'm just glad you're here..."
  13. My top three (in order) are: 1. Michael Lindauer (Evansville Memorial) 2. Jordan Scheller (Gibson Southern) maybe a hair over a decade 3. Brady Allen (Gibson Southern) (Senior Year was really special) Jett has a shot if the coaching staff actually develops passing concepts in their offense other than "go deep".
  14. Tri West's enrollment isnt growing, they are smaller this classification than they were the last, where as Danville and Lebanon grew.
  15. Residents... The Students have been flocking west for several years if not 10 or more.
  16. Tri West enrollment may be growing but I’d imagine Danville and Lebanon’s enrollments will vastly surpass Tri-West’s. Whitestown is one of the fastest growing areas of the state and it is within Lebanon district lines. Avon is slowly starting to resemble Wayne Twp more and more and Avon residents are heading west.
  17. Decade: Brady Allen All Time: Jay Cutler Hopes and dreams to exceed both--Jett Goldsberry
  18. Setup a stand across from the Center Grove stadium or The Pit and watch the $ roll in.
  19. Oh yeah. Thanks for the correction. To much conference shenanigans going on............... Still a mistake by Tri-West IMHO. Their enrollment is probably on nothing but an upward trajectory, and they shown for a while now that they can punch above their weight class.
  20. I don't know that they would take Danville... Linton maybe?
  21. Honestly Muda, how many people are going out to purchase a High School jersey? IDK, high school football is not a billion dollar industry. Some of these kids are amazingly talented...they can make their bones with NIL in college and even if they are lucky in the pros. Jersey's are highly over priced and the percentage earned from the sale of a unit sold is less than 5% on average in the College ranks. If the Jersey is $140 and the cut is 4% the players get like $5. If over the span of a season the schools sells 100 units...yeah a kid is going to be happy to get $500. But, are there 100 people in each community that is ready to shell out $140 for a High school player's uniform? I would say no not likely. https://www.outkick.com/sports/college-football-players-receiving-laughably-small-cut-of-jersey-sales-report
  22. No Muda... Lebanon and Danville are joining Harrison and McCutcheon as the Sagamore. Tri-West was supposed to join but have opted to join the new conference.
  23. Perhaps a public reprimand, but not a suspension.
