32 is just casually Memorial, Mater Dei, Gibson Southern, Southridge, Heritage Hills, Vincennes Lincoln. apologies to Mt Vernon….and Princeton never had a chance anyways. There’s a possibility of 4 or 5 ranked schools in 32…maybe even multiple in the top 5 of 3A lol

Don't love it too much. HH will be gone shortly for success and GS will be gone for enrollment. Memorial will be all alone again....well they will have Mater Dei. I suppose that's one take on it.

Back to WRC all in one for 1A along with North Central Farmersburg and South Putnam, should be a good sectional. Which WRC team has the best shot at taking this one?

I get it. It makes the most sense. You could almost call it the ICC tourney, with 5 of the 8 conference teams included.

I mean, looking at a map, it'd be hard to argue against those schools being in the same sectional, yeah? The splitting Indy like a pie, at least in 2A, 2 years ago was massively stupid.

Speedhawk says put whoever you want in our sectional. L'burg is gonna win 'em all anyway. Like my across the street pre-Connie's ritual, I want my 'chips with the dip. Viva mas Gentlemen.

Although 2 FtW/2Hamco schools is exactly what it was. True. I'm not sure there's a right or wrong, either way, some teams were going to have to travel. I thought it was going to be Snider and Homestead to the south. Carroll and Northrop to South Bend. Harrison to Indy.

I think they did a good job with 6A North all things considered. Two sectionals comprise teams from the same general area. The other two are 3/1. Homestead is to Indy as Elkhart is to Fort Wayne. I'm not sure how they could have done it any better. Putting Harrison into Sectional 1 would have shifted another FW school to Indy. You would have two FW schools vs two Indy schools. Two SB schools vs two FW schools. From a fans perspective, that's what I was personally hoping for. But geographically, I can see why the IHSAA did what they did.

The 6A "shift" is the oddest one to me....Harrison for Jeff, Snider for Warsaw, and everything else is basically status quo, this was apprently not what the IHSAA had in mind 5A makes sense to me as I fell IHSAA has always viewed Warsaw as "Fr Wayne adjacent" 😜

2A Sectional 37 Apparently they couldn't find a way to squeeze LCC into this one in place of Monrovia!

The new sectional assignments for the next two years have just been released. Here are the assignments for Hoosier Hills Conference teams. 6A sectional 8 (4 teams): Center Grove, Columbus North, Franklin Central, Jeffersonville 5A sectional 14 (4 teams): Columbus East, East Central, Franklin, Seymour 5A sectional 16 (4 teams): Castle, Evansville North, Floyd Central, New Albany 4A sectional 23 (8 teams): BNL, Charlestown, Connersville, Greenwood, Jennings County, Martinsville, Shelbyville, Silver Creek

Easily some of the best atmospheres I’ve been too, especially the 2018 game being a packed house and standing room only.

Some great games right there, not all of them but man we pack the house for those!

After a long waited 5 years, the GS-Memorial Rivalry is back on

Well that's all squared away along with announcing girls wrestling and boys volleyball. Have to think boys & girls lacrosse will be next in line.

My Southridge friends may have to weigh in here. I don't know if they will finish that high with this group of teams. They are always well coached and get the most out of their kids. Will have to see come the end of the season.

Selfishly, I hope we get to play Memorial. Always a great atmosphere. At home of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will see how things shake out. I think we will be solid with room to grow. Lots of new faces, with some 2 year starters sprinkled in. We have a nice schedule again to help us get ready.
