I expect you have researched the history of government primary and secondary education in this country? It wasn't to turn out a populace of Rhodes scholars and Nobel laureates, but a willing, malleable workforce. Nothing has really changed, regardless of what side of the uni-party was running the Indiana department of education.
-
Which party happens to run the Department of Education? Why would the politicians cut the number and types of classes for the citizens to take? Why is Indiana turning high school into work, work, work (some parents don't want their children working during high school!), removing important classes after 10th grade (look it up, but fewer social studies, fewer science (no bio, chem, physics?), and math credits the same, but classes may be different!)? Again, verify, verify, verify. When you dumb down the populace and you own the businesses, you get the workers you want. Rich white males in charge?

Agree...we don't necessarily get these games to win (although that is always the goal). The level of competition for players and coaches can be worth the Ls when they happen.
-
I agree. That offense is very intricate and the success of the program they have built is impressive. I am very intrigued by this matchup. I would expect Rochester to be a heavy favorite most years but would not be surprised by GS putting up their own fair share of points.
-
I have a friend who lives in the Decatur, IL area. I have seen some highlights of Rochester online. Their screen/quick passing game is something else. Should be a good matchup with lots of offense - and I would bet the over.
-
For now, no changes have been announced for week 4.
-
You guys still playing South Warren next year too? GS is going to have a beefed up schedule next season, likely due to 4A being around the corner.

Hoosier Hills Conference

What's the word around the HHC? I know we're a few months away from the season but it's never too early to start discussion. Obviously I know my team well, but who are some other guys to look out for? Who's the QB at Seymour and BNL next year? -

Very nice! Can't wait to see it in person come August.

The politicians. It is what you get in a government funded school system and a regulatory department of education.

The new visitors lockers (girls locker) are part of the new building on the home side. My biggest gripe is I wish the visitors side had more seating. This is an older update. https://www.witzamfm.com/highlights/an-exclusive-inside-view-of-the-new-look-jerry-brewer-alumni-stadium

Jerry Brewer Alumni Stadium Joe Rohleder field (I laugh while typing that) got a face lift. I took these when I was back in town last week. New bleachers, press box concession stand, score board, restrooms and hopefully visitors locker room. But I’m not for sure on the last one.

Check out the newly pushed graduation requirements in Indiana and the classes you will no longer have to take. Who is in charge of this? Which people?

K-12 Schools Crippled by Covid Cash https://reason.com/2024/05/27/k-12-schools-crippled-by-covid-cash/ Any government school board who made spending decisions based on this federal money being around for the long haul should be drummed out of office.

Dominant run through the postseason, capped off with handing Maryland a 15-5 whooping.

As I get older and have had to engage more with the medial profession, either for myself or other family members, my opinion is basically "meh". Government regulation and the lack of a true free market alternative regarding insurance has IMHO ruined medicine. And then you have all out dumbing down of entrance requirements for medical schools, all in the name of DEI.
