  1. Wait a minute! I was always told size didn’t matter! 😉

  2. If it was over a specified length it could be a 15 yard penalty !

  3. That's a hard one, but you'd think the refs would be a little flexible in their climatic resolution. Seriously, I can't blame the refs for kicking it to the sideline as opposed to picking it up. I've had a player throw up on the field when coaching a game before and we tried to run everything to the opposite side of the field whenever we'd get back around that yard line later in the game. I think the there are a couple of NFL refs that could pull off stating a call on this ... could bring Ed Hochuli out of retirement just for this. For the first incident of the season, maybe it's like a sideline warning, with a mic'd reading like, "Sideline warning. Frustrated fan with inadequate partner or inability to secure a partner. Next instance will result in 5 yard delay of game penalty against *insert team name here*." No pun intended on the insert. Immediately after the infraction announcement, the stadium announcer could announce that fans are requested not to throw foreign objects or marital aids on the field ... and that batteries ARE available at the concession stands in the lower concourse. Of course, it could just be one of the old standby calls with a little modification, "After the play, the fan in the stands was givin' him the business."

  4. IO has been has been retired for several years. And the one of the main reasons was…….parents. My last season we were like 12-0, ranked, and I had to talk to a mom who’s kid had started and played every game, she was unhappy about where the kid was playing. It was about that point IO wondered why he had missed most of his own kid’s college career for this shit?

  5. Yes!!! To have them get beat at home, with the announcers rooting for them, and in the way it finished. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving owner, team, or fans.

  6. How ‘bout them Cowboys! There truly is something worse than being a Colts fan!

  7. We had the JC/Mooresville game. Pretty much the entire game there was literally some loudmouth standing at the rail, yelling at the coaching staff most of the game. I really felt horrible for the coaching staff. This season was a bad situation in general, but no one should have to be subjected to that. Imagine an official feeling bad for a coach who’s being yelled at. As far as the Wrestling program, you don’t want to be the guy who follows the legend. Good luck to the Panthers.

  8. I don’t think it’s much of an issue at the NFL level. There are about 120 officials in the NFL. They all get the same memos, watch the same film, go to the same clinics, listen to the same supervisors. They should be as close to interchangeable as humanly possible. Plus, they are pretty good to start with.

  10. I sincerely hope this works out for JC. The AD is young and seems to have a plan for moving in a positive direction for the whole athletic program. Massive facility upgrades have been going on in North Vernon the last few years. Hopefully they can drag the locals, kicking and screaming if necessary, into a competitive program.

  11. Chaos is good. Disruption of the status quo is good. That is how growth occurs.
