  1. I want to say a big “thank you” to Coach Theobald and his staff for running an excellent camp this week! Also, thanks to the coaches and players from Brownstown, West Washington, Tecumseh, and Madison for working and competing with us this week. We enjoyed our three days together with you guys. Best of luck to everyone this season! Coach Denison

  3. It was Decatur. If I remember correctly it was to Princeton because their dad got a job there. According to the article that was the reason for moving to Decatur but he is staying there and not coming back. Crazier than a soap opera.

  4. Worst part about it are the RBs from last year which are still on the team will get screwed over to let these back in. Funny how they are here when with a coach with no discipline, he leaves and a tougher coach comes so they also leave now that coach is gone and they are back. I sure hope for the returns at Central more than anyone that the IHSAA doesnt approve this. Dont have facts in front of me but I would be willing to bet that over the years no school has had more kids in trouble than Central. All points back to leadership, or lack therof.

  5. It was a very entertaining game with a lot of action. The Region of NWI should be very proud with their athletes and coaches performing very well. Andreans Zach Merrill was MVP of game and was easily the most exciting player on the field. It will be interesting how he does with the Hoosiers next year. Chestertons VanEekern kicked the game winning field goal. Laporte's Seibert opened up o holes on the Oline, and I thought that Valparaiso's Tyler Bukur, Lowell's Jansky on the DL, and Whiting's Barbosa all stood out defensively for the north. Also, River Forest's Joe O Connell and Valparaiso's Sam Bernardi were part of the Norths Coaching staff.

  6. Like it so much I reposted twice. 🤪 Siac has two sets of bylaws. Central's and then the rest.

  7. It’s a good thing the EVSC administration has not shown favoritism towards any schools. If only there was someone at IHSAA in Indy who could pull some strings.

  8. I don't believe this is a 1st Amendment issue. Just because someone blocks you on social media does not silence you. My state rep and I are personal friends, we went to school together, and have been FB friends since before he was a state rep. I see how some of his threads degenerate. He gets hammered by bots, out of state fake accounts, etc. I rarely posts on his threads because of all the notifications and all the crap you have to wade thru. I also know he has blocked people.

  10. At home (WW) the ONLY choice is the ribeye sandwiches from our concessions. Often imitated, never equaled. All other restaurants are 15+ minutes away and can not compete with our sandwiches. When traveling to Paoli or Springs Valley I stop in Paoli at Porkys BBQ before the game. Springs Valley also requires a stop at West Baden Hotel for a hand dipped ice cream cone. Mitchell is a good excuse to go to Spring Mill Inn for the buffet. Perry Central I have to stop at Schwartz’s Amish Restaurant. Man I’m hungry, when does football start?
