  1. Donation made, must...get...ads...off my screen
  2. I think he's going for illegal procedure is maybe what he's going for?
  3. I hope he stays healthy, the rest of the team only has 200 yards offense.
  4. I'm not sure I would even take under 19.5. 20.5 you got a deal.
  5. My point was not about Merrillville. They could very well be in anyone's top 25 and could have a decent arguement. Not sure about top 10, but I'll give you 25. You then went on to say that Andrean could beat the 23-25 teams. That is where you lost any credibility whatsoever for creating a top 25.
  6. What are you smoking and where can I get some of it. Merrillville isn't in the top 25 yet, and they beat Andrean by almost 4 scores. Andrean is a really, really good 2A team, STOP RIGHT THERE, DON'T GO ANY FURTHER
  7. I think this thread proves just how hard it is to be a football coach. The job of a coach is to push your athletes to their maximum potential, if not you are doing your players a disservice. There is also a fine line in this because you are also trusted with the health and safety of these players as well. The first couple of weeks of high school football are hot in Indiana, especially on Friday nights. You have to push athletes in order to survive the first couple of weeks to make it through a 48 minute game of varsity football. Difficult difficult situation to be in as a coach. Time needs to be spent heading into the season training kids on how to prepare for a game or practice properly hydrating throughout the day. I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, high school athletes feel invincible until they aren't. Without proper preparation, no one is. I feel for the coaches and I feel for the players, difficult situation to be in at Snider.
  8. I don't know much about the license thing. I would have to look into that for you. Easy one man job, the drone flies itself. Just need to adjust the camera view from time to time, but the actual drone itself shouldn't have to move too much. Set up before the game is half the time it takes to set up an end zone camera. The only reason we still have an end zone camera is because we can't fly them during the playoffs. The sideline package is what I meant not focus, my apologies.
  9. Are you talking like how long the battery lasts? We have about 3 we take out during the game with the battery charger as well. I don't know for sure, but I think a battery fully charged should easily last you a quarter. Usually land it swap out a battery every quarter or half. We also have the charging station there to charge the battery from the first quarter if we need it for the last quarter. The shot you get from a drone vs. end zone camera is night and day. I would push for one as soon as you can. If you use hudl on the sidelines you can get adapters to hook the drone footage directly to your hudl focus like you would with an end zone camera to see right there on the sidelines.
  10. I'm very excited about the win, but dang how much of the win was us doing things right or the Dolphins doing that much wrong. I mean they looked bad. Brownsburg might have been able to show up and beat the Dolphins on Sunday 🙂
  11. No I don't because my guess is they all already had them last year. You are behind the times.
  12. The same teams that were using it last year when you asked the exact same question.
  13. 2A North is very wide open. Jets are still a very good team, but they don't look as untouchable as they have in previous years. A lot of football to be played till then, and with the great coaching they have they might get to that level by then, but right now they just don't look quite as dominant. I think South Adams and Bluffton will be closer games this year than they have been in the past.
  14. Could be some good ones this week. Big game between Southwood and Northfield. I think the Manchester and Cass game could be a good one as well. Who ya got? Manchester at Cass ©, 7 pm Northfield at Southwood ©, 7 pm Northwestern at Peru ©, 7 pm Wabash at Rochester ©, 7 pm Whitko at Maconaquah ©, 7 pm For me, I'm taking Cass. Big win last week against Peru in a close one. Haven't seen the game yet. That momentum will ride into this week. Give me Northfield on the next one. It's about that time that Coach Baker starts getting that option team to become a well oiled machine. Peru will be too physical for the Purple Tigers. Rochester by a lot. Wabash has some good athletes tho. Maconaquah by a lot. Wonder if Whitko will have their QB and HB back for this one. Didn't play in the game last week against Rochester and it showed. -15 yards of total offense in a game is not good.
  15. North Miami needs to clean up the QB and center exchanges. Ball on the ground way too much last week. Against good teams that will cost you, luckily they were able to overcome that last week.
  16. Their record doesn't show it, but South Adams is a very dangerous team in 1A. I think they have a chance to go to LOS. I don't know what the south has, so can't confidently say they win state, but I think they are the favorite to represent the north this year if they can get by Madison Grant whenever they would see them. Other than that, I don't think any of the other teams make it to Thanksgiving week, but there will be some Sectional champs and maybe a regional champ or two sprinkled in there.
  17. I've heard talks of Andrean being really really good this year. Is Merrillville going to be that good that they are going to dust Andrean that bad?
  18. 32 on Maxpreps, not a single freshman was listed either so I'm guessing they have a few more. Busco's defense looked pretty solid on film. Offense looked a little rough.
  19. Probably old news to all ND fans, but just saw the other day that Larry Fitzgerald's son committed to Notre Dame. The man still has one of the coolest statistics in all of sports. More tackles in his NFL career than dropped passes. Just amazing, can't wait to see what his son does at ND in the coming years.
  20. Not surprised, can you get anything out of Richardson or do you just let his contract expire?
  21. Carroll over Caston, Caston's scrimmage looked a lot better than what they looked like at the end of the summer, but I'm rolling with Carroll still. Culver and Attica, flip a coin Pioneer over Cass, watched both scrimmages, I think it will be close, I think Pioneer has the better depth and better players on the field. Knox over Judson, I really like Knox to represent the North for 3A this year. I think Judson is a really good 1A team this year, I don't think they will be good enough to beat Knox. North Miami over Northfield, Northfield looked better than I thought they would in their scrimmage. They got a good athletic QB running the option. North Miami is a very good team with a lot of guys back. Triton and Laville, pick the coin you flipped for the Culver game and flip it again. Wheeler over South Central, I don't know much about either team. Winamac over West Central, I don't know much about West Central. Winamac has a good QB. I'll give them the nod.
  22. Any TRC folks out there? Any first week thoughts? Numbers down a little bit, but hopefully the conference stays very competitive. Here's the week one matchups. Cass at Pioneer, 7 pm Maconaquah at Wabash ©, 7 pm Manchester at Northwestern ©, 7 pm North Miami at Northfield, 7 pm Peru at Logansport, 7 pm Rochester at Southwood ©, 7 pm Whitko at Prairie Heights, 7 pm Cass hasn't had any trouble putting up points. Can they stop the other team from scoring this year? Tough week 1 opponent. Pulling for the TRC in this matchup, but I'm going to give Pioneer the nod. Maconaquah gets the win in the TRC matchup with Wabash. Manchester has some good players at the skilled positions. I think this will be the game of the week in the TRC. I'm going to take the Squires over the Tigers week 1. North Miami beats an improved Northfield team, but I think it will be close. Logansport over Peru Rochester gets the nod over the Knights. Flip a coin in the Whitko and Prairie Heights game. I don't know much about either team going into the season other than Whitko has a new coach. I'll pick Whitko just because of being in the TRC, but not sure how this game will go.
  23. Agreed, I'm not saying tipton should even receive votes either, but if those two teams are I think they should. Bluffton and Adams Central should be a little more competitive this year compared to last you think?
  24. The INSC thread has Valley winning handily. I've seen a little bit of Valley, but don't know much about Plymouth. Did they lose a lot of talent from last year? Did the well dry up in one year? I'm interested to see how this game unfolds a week before the Bell Game.
  25. Busco and Bremen could be a good one. A lot of question marks surrounding the Lions from what I hear. A lot of young guys stepping up. I've seen a little bit of Valley over the summer, but not enough to know what they can do in an actual game. Plymouth had a good year last year. Is the well already dry?
