  1. I think you forget who his dad is lol you have already seen what happens when a Hart is coaching in the MIC either way I don’t it’s going to happen and I think it’s inappropriate to speculate on coaches leaving their positions for another coaching spot
  2. Well it’s a good thing Coach Hart is now the Athletic Director at Gibson Southern lol it’s been a solid 10 years of rumors or speculation that Coach Hart would leave. Imo, he’s the best offensive play designer/play caller in the state and likes to play mind games with opposing coaches to get them in the defenses he wants for certain plays. If he were to ever leave Gibson Southern, it wouldn’t be for another high school lol. It would be for a college program.
  3. Is that how they do it? it would require Indiana to move to a Non “All in” format though. also if I recall correctly, Illinois has playoff games where teams travel incredible distances just based on seeding. Definitely not a fan of that. I think it’s crazy if teams have to travel 3 hours for non state championship games. Poor Lawrenceburg/ all of SE Indiana gets screwed on this every year
  4. I was wondering what could have brought this topic to 3 pages lol. To think I missed an argument involving Center Grove and Brady Allen lol. someone should have tagged me 😂
  5. I would be okay with it…but if a team wins the 6A2 title they should move to 6A1. Forget the success factor rules for that still a firm believer that 5A should be 64 teams and 1A should be closer to 32. 6A1 - 16 teams 6A2 - 16 teams 5A - 64 teams 4A - 64 teams 3A - 64 teams 2A - 64 teams 1A - the remaining teams
  6. 2015 for sure. That team was just soooo good. If it weren’t for the Magical run this last year and Brady taking it to an entirely new level, I would probably argue that Sellers was the best QB we have had at GS….at least statistically and in terms of scheme fit. What Brady has done these last few years, especially this year, has made many forget about how good Sellers was for us. His senior year he threw for 3000 yards and 40+ touchdowns…but then he added like 800 rushing and another 15 touchdowns. A true dual threat….pretty dang good for a kid who was our starting long snapper as a freshman
  7. The only ones I can recall are some of the northern teams playing teams from the U.P. of Michigan. But those are small schools in the middle of the north woods.
  8. I don’t know why many don’t try to play out of state. Last I checked the only requirement to make playoffs was to have a winning record in conference. You could go 0-5 out of conference but 4-0 in conference and make playoffs. at least that’s how it was
  9. I haven’t noticed too much but I have noticed multiple players being able to step in and get the job done i think for you guys specifically, the scheme requires a more physical QB who is built up a bit….and there are not too many freshman who fit that bill. unless of course Coach Wilk wants to take it back to how 2014 was and running the spread lol those were some fun games.
  10. You’re not out of the water yet lol if Coach Hart has shown one thing…it’s that he can develop QBs. Scheller-Sellers-Sellers-Allen….All 4 have been 3A All state QBs. The next QB might not have the arm of Allen but I’m sure he’s going to have every opportunity to join the previous 4 starting QBs for GS at the All State level
  11. Texas probably needs an association just for private schools considering how many football teams Texas has. which before someone takes it down that road…Indiana does not have enough schools playing football to have a balanced system that separates private and public and I certainly enjoy it a lot more when they do have to face off against each other. 320 ish schools is simply just not enough to make moves similar to states that have 700+ easy
  12. Trying to keep track of how the classes are stacked in each state is a nightmare lol some states have 1A as the largest and then going down you could have like 4A being the smallest…other states have numerous divisions like New York has 4 different divisions for just Long Island by the looks of it. It’s all weird
  13. Kimberly, Wisconsin’s coach is stepping down. just an incredible run for this guy. He’s going to be a motivational speaker/author now. If that’s his calling beyond coaching, good for him
  14. In the markets of the billions of dollars for CFB and NFL….no such thing as overpaid athletes. some of these college football programs are taking in more money than the NFL in terms of stadium/game day revenue. Especially when you consider many college stadiums are larger than any of the NFL.
  15. I think it depends on the player and what their expectations were coming in if you were a 5 star recruit….the college probably discussed a plan to go to the nfl after 3 years if the player can prove they belong there….in this case it was the plan all along. Like Trevor Lawrence…that kid was never going to play 4 years…let alone anything not playoffs. just what it is…and when they sign a recruit like GK3 or whoever….they know they only have 3 years and it’s part of the plan to develop them quickly.
  16. Look…ND isn’t like my favorite team Wisconsin Badgers…it’s not like Purdue or Indiana….or even the Michigan teams. Notre Dame isn’t playing to win any conference championship or play in the Rose Bowl….they are playing to win national championships. that’s just what it is
  17. Oh plenty lol but going into how NDs tv contracts and their reliance on playing a national schedule so they can pull recruits from everywhere is a discussion for the Next Level forum. My biggest issue is probably that ND has its name among the elite programs but they routinely finish somewhere just outside the top 5. For their tradition and their recruits I just expect more. 1989 was the last national championship team ND had. 30 years of being almost one of the best. One of these years they will actually live up to the billing
  18. Wood memorial should be on this list…although they may have already “contracted”. Football program was suspended a few years back because of hazing BS and they haven’t fielded a team since
  19. It bugs me how much ND doesn’t care about in state prospects. This years class is nine 4 star prospects or better. Insane class for Indiana….and they got 2 commits out of it
  20. ….I live in my home state I even live in the same city I was born in. Less than a mile away from my birthplace lol
  21. Hot take…..more than half of the people in Indiana would be better served by leaving and going to another state. too many stay because of family and keep the BS factory job or whatever and live a very unhappy life. would be better if many people left and made it out on their own before deciding to move back and pour into the local communities. the state of Indiana is traitor to its own people in many cases and many of these young kids should go out and explore other areas to see what the rest of the US/World is like. Good on those that have left that state to make a name for themselves elsewhere
  22. This may ruffle feathers but I’m a firm believer Wood Memorial should be closed as a whole and move all the kids between princeton/pike central/gibson southern/ Tecumseh wood memorial doesn’t even have football anymore after that crap that they were doing with hazing and what not. Wood is like 15 miles from pike central….same distance to princeton. 20 miles to gibson southern but for some kids it might only be 15 miles still. Tecumseh is 11 miles away I mention this because numbers can always help and princeton and pike central could sure use them.
