Hard to figure out how a team can look so dominant for 2 games and so bad the other 2. Even in this game, the first 2 drives were impressive. It seems LaFleur cannot adjust to what teams do to stop them. On their drive in OT with the 4th down play, hitting Golden across the middle was huge. But they rarely run those routes....or at least Love rarely throws to them. But something is off. I knew going in this was a tougher game than anyone was saying.

It seemed as though Mendoza did not have an option to check plays at the line because some of those blitzes were shown before the snap. Or maybe he wasn't seeing them?

Mannnnnnn....tough game in a tough place to play. Nice to come away with the win. IU never really adjusted to the blitzing that Iowa was doing until that last TD play.

Since then, they literally raised the roof...... and added a section of seats. Pretty impressive feat. It was well before I moved up here, but have seen plenty of pictures. Great vision on the part of the people that pulled it off. It's allowed them to bring in some well known shows that likely would not have come to a smaller venue. Paul McCartney comes to mind....what a great show that was.

Dog shit game plan on offense. The defense kept them in the game for the most part. But you cannot let opponets start drives inside the 10. And Love is too far along in his career to play like he did today; especially with this play.

They have always played Penn State tough, but tend to get hosed playing there. Here's hoping!

I was a fan of Jones in college, and before anyone knew the name of Jordan Love, I felt like Jones would be a great fit for the offense Green Bay has. He has Rodgers' ability to move around the pocket and Favre level arm strength when throwing. I am happy for him to see him doing well to start here and think the confidence he is gaining will only make him better.
