  1. I know another poster said that it's a lose-lose game, but Pioneer definitely has the chance to answer the "what-if" in this game and I'm sure that the Pioneer boys, staff, and administration are absolutely chomping at the bit to play this game against the metaphorical giant.
  2. Under the present circumstances, no. At least Chesterton is scheduling a powerhouse, even if they have a small enrollment. I'd give them a C probably.
  3. I see it as a great opportunity for Pioneer to gauge where they're at, but injuries are a concern as Pioneer only has 32 or 33 on the roster this year due to a very small freshman class. Too bad Pioneer doesn't still have Kiser and Co. from a few years ago. Pioneer plays 4A New Haven in week 3. I see that as a more winnable game for them, but still a challenge.

  5. Pioneer will play 4A New Haven at home in week 3.
  6. Pioneer is a "2A" school with a sub 300 1A enrollment that rescheduled a 6A school that they have zero familiarity with. They get an A+. Chesterton has seven times the enrollment of Pioneer.
  7. Does anyone know what formation Chesterton runs on offense and defense? All that I've heard is that they have a pretty good QB.
  8. Pioneer is open week 3.
  9. Unfortunately the Bob-O-Link is closed now and is for sale. Bob Shanks has decided to sell his three restaurants and retire.
  10. Caston ends their losing streak beating West Central 38-6. Southwood stunned Knox 28-26. Pioneer pounded Cass 44-0. Peru beat Logansport 25-20.
  11. Well, it is 2020...
  12. If I had a million dollars I would donate it to the GID.
  13. I wish that Pioneer could have scheduled Tipton instead of Chesterton.
  14. So he can't say that but you can threaten him with "meet me in the parking lot?" That isn't a good look for this forum at all.
  15. That tells me that it was the nurse who administered the test to my wife.
  16. My wife and I both had a test a while back. It kind of sucked but I've had worse. My wife, on the other hand, did not handle it well. The test caused her to have a sore in her nose that lasted for weeks, plus the nurse treated her like a child when she slightly flinched due to the pain.
  17. First half of the schedule is absolutely brutal. The second half eases up considerably.
  18. Well obviously I meant until there is an "effective" vaccine available.
  19. Job security for you my man.
  20. Then we're just going to continue this Covid charade until a vaccine is developed. If it was up to me, the federal government would mandatorily test the entire country. They should have done this months ago and it would have saved congress from having to pass several of these trillion dollar relief packages. Anyone testing positive is then quarantined. If they want to put up a fight, they can then be tried with a felony after their quarantine is finished. We need to get back to normal, but what we're doing isn't working.
  21. I personally believe that all schools should either be canceled for the upcoming school year or it should all be done online again like it was in March, April, and May.
  22. It's not about the teenagers dying, it's about limiting the amount of people who catch the virus, carry it, and then give it to higher risk people. It's all about limiting transmission rates.
  23. Masks required at the Silver Dollar? I definitely smell a fight a brewin'.

    NFL Week 1

Luckily I'm off tomorrow. Wearing a mask protects others, not vice versa.

Ellenwood, what I don't understand about you is why you've come on here and have practically bragged about traveling to Florida, a known hot spot, and didn't wear a mask because of your "freedom" and etc. What are you celebrating exactly, your freedom to make bad choices and potentially endanger the lives of others? What's so empowering about that? Then you're even cocky and proud of it. I believe that you and many others have confused what you believe is freedom with selfishness. Not following rules or regulations isn't freedom either, as you bragged about as well.
