  1. Pioneer's AD John Bingaman announced that, due to issues with the audio during the New Haven game, the Caston game will be streamed for free.
  2. I like your predictions. I think that LaVille wins by a couple of TDs, but they might have issues with conditioning, injuries, ball control, and etc with it being their first game that might swing the game in Winamac's favor. Pioneer wins BIG Knox has been underwhelming so far this season. Bremen is really good and shouldn't have any issues with Triton. WC is struggling a lot.
  3. You're really stretching it now. Take your conspiracy theories to the OOB forum.
  4. Hopefully Purdue didn't already build a temple for student sacrifice. Any idea where they could place it? I kid.
  5. My biggest issue is that I work every other Friday night, often until around 9 PM. I would catch the game as much as I could at work and then watch the rest if it still wasn't over. My other issue is that I paid a $5 monthly subscription fee to RTC for access to the Pioneer game. I then still didn't have any access and the PPV company wanted me to pay an additional $10.50. I normally watch by myself from home or work, because my wife and kids have limited interest, and I have for a few years now, all for free. I also live an hour South of Pioneer and I never make away games outside of Cass every other year, due to the majority of the away games being 2 hours drives and blowouts. I listened to the game on the radio instead, although a few away games won't even be broadcasted this year, probably due to a lack of social distancing. What irks me is that I was able to watch the Winamac and Caston games for free. I understand that Pioneer brings in a lot of viewers and that it will help the athletic department, but from what I've been told, the PPV feed didn't even have sound for a large portion, if not all, of the game. Also the camera work is often shoddy at best, as anyone can attest to who has ever watched very many webcasts. It's great as a free or $5 or less product, but I'm not paying $10.
  6. Go Panthers! This is a game that will be talked about for decades to come.
  7. Sounds like a great game. A Pioneer-Linton rematch sounds good to me as well.
  8. I know another poster said that it's a lose-lose game, but Pioneer definitely has the chance to answer the "what-if" in this game and I'm sure that the Pioneer boys, staff, and administration are absolutely chomping at the bit to play this game against the metaphorical giant.
  9. Under the present circumstances, no. At least Chesterton is scheduling a powerhouse, even if they have a small enrollment. I'd give them a C probably.
  10. I see it as a great opportunity for Pioneer to gauge where they're at, but injuries are a concern as Pioneer only has 32 or 33 on the roster this year due to a very small freshman class. Too bad Pioneer doesn't still have Kiser and Co. from a few years ago. Pioneer plays 4A New Haven in week 3. I see that as a more winnable game for them, but still a challenge.
  11. Pioneer will play 4A New Haven at home in week 3.
  12. Pioneer is a "2A" school with a sub 300 1A enrollment that rescheduled a 6A school that they have zero familiarity with. They get an A+. Chesterton has seven times the enrollment of Pioneer.
  13. Does anyone know what formation Chesterton runs on offense and defense? All that I've heard is that they have a pretty good QB.
  14. Unfortunately the Bob-O-Link is closed now and is for sale. Bob Shanks has decided to sell his three restaurants and retire.
  15. Caston ends their losing streak beating West Central 38-6. Southwood stunned Knox 28-26. Pioneer pounded Cass 44-0. Peru beat Logansport 25-20.
  16. If I had a million dollars I would donate it to the GID.
  17. I wish that Pioneer could have scheduled Tipton instead of Chesterton.
  18. So he can't say that but you can threaten him with "meet me in the parking lot?" That isn't a good look for this forum at all.
  19. That tells me that it was the nurse who administered the test to my wife.
  20. My wife and I both had a test a while back. It kind of sucked but I've had worse. My wife, on the other hand, did not handle it well. The test caused her to have a sore in her nose that lasted for weeks, plus the nurse treated her like a child when she slightly flinched due to the pain.
  21. First half of the schedule is absolutely brutal. The second half eases up considerably.
