If he keeps improving, yes. PFF has him as the 26th ranked TE out of 70. His ceiling is probably 500-600 yards receiving, but I do remember the Colts staff raving about his blocking several years ago. He's not going to make any QBs salivate, but he's also not a liability either.

Mo Alie-Cox is experienced at TE with seven starts last season, plus he's still youngish and improving.

Here are some stats for you. According to Pro Football Reference, Wentz had ZERO game winning drives or 4th quarter comebacks last season. He was also ranked 26th out of 31 QBs in on target percentage, and 25th in bad throw percentage. 18.8% of his passes were bad throws. Zach Wilson was the worst in the league at 23.8%, while Joe Burrow was the best at 10.7%. I'm really not sure what religion has to do with being either a good football player or a good QB. It must be important to you though. I was in the camp that Wentz was playing well, due to his TD/INT ratio, but after digging deeper I realized that the ratio doesn't tell the entire story.

The answer to whom the Colts' next starting QB will be won't have an easy answer. Veterans - Fitzpatrick, Foles, Bridgewater, Winston, and Mariota. Fitzpatrick is too old and is nothing more than a stop gap. Foles has never really been a full time starter. Bridgewater is average at best, but also isn't a long term solution. Winston possibly presents the best upside, but he has never been very accurate and makes far too many bad decisions. Mariota reminds me a bit of Carson Wentz. He will continue to intrigue teams due to his pre-injury history, but don't be fooled. Young with potential - Trubisky. There are some that think that maybe Trubisky just wasn't a fit in Chicago and that he can flourish in a different system and with new coaches. He might be worth a flyer for the right price, but I doubt that he will come cheap. The Colts should stay away unless they can sign him for a cheap, one year prove it deal, laced with incentives. I would stay away. Familiar with the system - Brissett. This might end up happening, barring Indy giving up precious draft capital for Garoppolo or Carr. Draft. There aren't any 2nd or 3rd round QBs that I feel that the Colts should take, unless one drops to them. If the Colts do plan on taking a rookie passer in the 2nd round, I highly recommend signing one of the top free agents as well.
  5. I don't have access to YouTube at work unfortunately.

  8. Oh definitely, especially the girl's volleyball, basketball, and softball programs. They probably are, pound for pound, the best public school athletically in the state in the last 10 years, definitely in the last 5.
  9. Pioneer has a very successful program and was, in the past ten years, in the bottom 20 of enrollment for the entire state. The enrollment is now in the top 20 for 1A. 35% of the Jr/Sr HS receives free lunches, while 98% of the elementary enrollment receives free lunches.
  10. He was able to find an apartment in Winamac in the past month. He appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
  11. I like Culver by a TD, Pioneer by 3 TDs, LaVille by a TD, NJ by 21, and Winamac wins by 50+.
  12. I really liked the QB change for Pioneer. Basic exchange issues seemed to be taken care of. Pioneer will win their sectional if they can stay healthy.
  13. Many of the long term posters here, especially those from the old MWC and HNAC, remember MightyJones, real name Kreigh Hook, and his on again off again status on this website. Kreigh hasn't been on here much lately but is still active on the John Harrell forum. We can all attest to the fact that he is Winamac's biggest fan and has been a member of the Warrior basketball program as a statistician for the past decade. Kreigh has had a very rough year. In the past few months he not only lost his mother to cancer, but he also lost his house to a fire on the night of August 27th, which he, coincidentally, found out about after Winamac had defeated Pioneer to hand the Panthers their first HNAC loss. His house had been in his family for roughly 175 years and he lost everything but his mom's ashes in it. Mr. Hook needs your help and has set up a GoFundMe page. Anything that you can give will help Mr. Hook out. Thank you. https://www.gofundme.com/f/57ugkm-please-help?qid=87324b85f34acf33e122e382193741df Moderators, take this down if it violates any rules.
  14. Scecina 14 Pioneer 0 Half Pioneer has 6 turnovers already. Both of Scecina's scores came on short drives following turnovers.
  15. Pioneer vs Cass was canceled due to outbreaks at Cass. Pioneer is looking for a week 1 opponent.
  16. I've heard that Maconaquah has moved to E-learning due to a large outbreak in the high school.
  17. Actually the fact that they continue to churn out great teams, despite having poor facilities, should give them some bonus points, if anything.
  18. Pioneer has the best 1A public program. There's a reason why they are now in 2A for the second classification cycle. Pioneer has the best public small school athletic program in the entire state right now.
  19. Former LCC OL Coy Cronk signed with the Packers as an UDFA.
  20. The Pit will always be home. It's too bad that the press box is teeny tiny, to the point that deep tournament games are moved to Logansport.
  21. Purdue has already lost Maliq Carr to Michigan State. Ugh :<
  22. From what I've read, Rosen isn't a fan of watching film or of being a student of the game. If he ever gets his head screwed on right, he might become a factor.
  23. Eh, I receive approximately five e-mails every week from Western about new cases in the school corporation.
  24. Pioneer's helmets are actually based off of the Delaware Blue Hens.
