    Argentina's system is probably the best, but since you don't get to choose your players, it won't be like promotion and relegation in most sports. Usually, the most money wins. That's not the smartest thing I've read. The supporters would probably volunteer their expertise.

    Most of the state doesn't only allow kids to enroll based on boundaries. The schools I've taught in have open enrollment and they are all public. Kids come from other counties or towns/cities and we lose kids all of the time to neighboring districts.

    I know, I know. Statistics... Curiosity...I know, and that person CAN get a gun. Sickening. I believe our SROs may have acted differently, but I don't know what they're supposed to/trained to do.

    Easy access=USA. It happens where? I don't think that is an opinion. I understand everyone's point, but it seems that it comes down to selfishness, not rights, and not what's best for the country/city/school etc. Of course, opinion. I have friends who spout off about the superiority of the USA, but have never set foot in another place to even remotely know.

    A little levity... I can only speak for my lunch and facebook crowd, but you'll likely have an even worse teacher shortage if they ask us to be armed. I've been trained in firearms. At the moment, I don't choose to carry. I don't want to carry in a school setting.
