Eastside is a very physical team and Luers was very physical right back. You can go through the game at IHSAATV.ORG and look for examples of class and classlessness in the players on the field from both teams and you'll certainly hear the Eastside announcers lack of class on many occasions. I can remember Luers losing their QB in playoffs/games in a couple of different championship years. Next man up. That QB did well vs. Luers, but I get it.

Lot's of Webbs up around here in Wabash County. Good people.

Eastside controlled the ball/clock/game so well last year and Luers still had a chance. Eastside and Luers lost a lot. It could be the same way this year. Coach Mason is a genius against Luers. I think Churubusco has ZERO chance of beating either.

P/P/P/P/P/P/C. All the same. :). For what it is worth, I teach in a small town and all I hear about is recruiting done by the Catholic and Lutheran schools in Fort Wayne...so I asked our big basketball star if any of the schools around here asked him to go there. Yep, they all did.

Luers at Northrop - At times, Northrop gives Luers fits. North Side at Homestead- I'm thinking Homestead has a chance....might switch my pick. Snider at Wayne- We'll see if Snider is quick strike and if Wayne keeps it close by using clock. South Side at Carroll- OUCH! Concordia at Dwenger-OUCH!

I haven't been in a school system that pushes college over trade over work over whatever fits best in over 20 years.

As far as public school education, I believe most teachers that are still around would say that he and Daniels ruined K-12 education as we knew it. Suellen fought as long as she could. The other supers did, too.
