  1. I teach in a school where kids cry in my room at least 2-3 times a week. Guess what kind of teachers they have? A few like those on these pages. Closed minded folks shouldn't teach. My biology teachers in a tiny Christian college in Indiana told us about 30 years ago that there was a lot of fuzziness in sex due to many factors. Why is it so hard for these people today? That was 3 decades ago. There are e helluva lot of smart people out there. I think I better go buy a pillow.
  2. I'm speechless. It's sickening.
  3. But they can't pay their....shut my mouth....
  4. https://www.mhsaa.com/portals/0/Documents/FB/8p21.pdf Michigan has it. Wisconsin https://www.wiaawi.org/Sports/Fall/Football/8PlayerFBJamboree
  5. I know that I've taught at Paul Harding High School, Navajo Nation, Colombia and Ecuador, South America. Where I teach now, some of these teachers would cry at those other schools. No offense to them. Some would thrive.
  6. Anything else? Wayne having issues? Somebody has it written all out, don't they? hahaha
  7. North Side and Northridge to play week 1 2023 and 2024
  8. I can confirm that I lost two students this week.
  9. IHSAA Football Commish Needs *an AA
  10. If I was a year or two closer to the magic 85, I'd put my hat in. 🙂 https://www.ihsaa.org/About-IHSAA/Current-Information/Employment-Opportunities
  11. Ah, okay, I saw that comment on another site. I haven't seen our AD or football coach to even ask him if he got a statement. It certainly would remove some confusion. There are lots of people here who could do a better job, but they wouldn't follow the good ol' boy system.
  12. Yeah, that's what the IDOE has done. Hmm. I think they just gave the information from the wrong year. Until the IHSAA or the IDOE makes a statement, we can all make reasons.
  13. Luers IDOE count was under 500. Their IHSAA count was almost one hundred up. Who knows.
  14. Oh, and the IHSAA is made of of a lot of former principals, AD's and the like.
  15. Why would the IHSAA just do something randomly...because people like DeSantis and Sharpe have influence? I know Sharpe is a great guy and people swear DeSantis is, but I've worked with principals and ADs a long time...they do what they want, when they want, how they want....my opinion.
  16. It's amazing to me that some states seem to be able to to it overnight and we decide to have committee after committee. It's just a crock of crap that two guys had that much influence over a tournament.
  17. Is that the whole truth? colonialism. 🙂
  18. Are there any more schedules leaked out?
  19. My grandma would get so mad when I would tell her something similar....clutch the rosary my dear. Reminds me of the time I was in Utah and the young lady asked the group why Brigham Young had so many living rooms/family home evenings and I was the poor non-LDS who blurted out that he had so many wives and kids to entertain. Oops. I respect all. I thought that was the answer. Lots of land and money in churches. Lots of widows and orphans, as you've said. I'm not as eloquent.
  20. haha! 🙂. That's the kind of BS that happens. Jimtown and Luers together. Bremen cupcake. Indy all messed up. Cronyism.
  21. Our math teachers and geography teachers are pretty dog gone good. Maybe I'm just thinking of past years. The IHSAA will have their influencers much like the old AD at Bremen, DeSantis, pull their magic. He used to make sure Bremen and Jimtown were not in the same football sectional. Our people here are very good at mapping and guessing.
  22. It only takes a few minutes. Hahaa. There are number and geography experts on here who have it finished already! It just has to be gerrymandered and snafued.
  23. Do you think someone is going to tell us next that the IHSAA should only be for public schools?
