  1. The IHSAA is a membership (club?) of member schools. It has nothing to do with what type of school.
  2. It’s actually 23-3 and Tipton marched right down the field before half and should have had a TD.
  3. Your team. Long way to go in that game.
  4. There are a myriad of ways to make up the lost seat time and money.
  5. No, but I'm sure there is some wealthy person that might be able to help out. The church is quite wealthy, but as a member I understand that it is distributed unwisely. That's another story. I was there and thought that MD was the better team, but the timing was just a bit off.
  6. It is what it is. Mater Dei had some bus issues, too, last year. They just couldn't get it together. Maybe MD should have driven up on Friday.
  7. I read this on the Luers site: Friday, November 6, the Bishop Luers Knights take on the Eastside Blazers at Luers Field! Tickets will be available for purchase for our Football and Cheer families in the Front Office on Wednesday 1:00PM-4:30PM, Thursday 7:15AM-4:30PM, and Friday 7:15 AM- 12:30PM. Tickets are $6.00 each, and will not be sold at the gates Friday night. Tickets can be picked up by student athletes or parents! I wouldn't rush over to wait in line.
  8. And they don't play well in that part of Dekalb County.
  9. Really? Interesting to know that. I wonder if Luers will move to Eastside. Doubt that!
  10. Leo 14 Northridge 7 3:38 left should have some interesting comments
  11. I hope the original person was found to be negative.
  12. Wow, really? That stinks! I teach in Wabash County, but haven’t heard anything yet.
  13. ha ha, I think I worded it oddly. When they move to the private sector. Move from public civil servant duty.
  14. Yes. I believe I spelled it correctly. Webster's should have it.
  15. I tend to look at things through a teacher's eyes. I see these kids every day. I've had a lot of training in child psychology, sociology, pedagogy, etc. What some of you guys talk about is for sports outside of school. Of course, things have changed since we, you, they were in school. Teachers have become much more responsible for taking care of kids. You might have a hard time coaching in today's world. These douchey things that you say have their root somewhere.
  16. There certainly are kids who don't do well in other classes excelling in Science. Alternatively, I know a guy who shouldn't have made the field based on grades, yet has NFL experience. Do you work in a school?
  17. Where do you coach/teach? Then, Shut The Front Door, please. It's drafty in here.
  18. We hear the same thing about teachers all of the time. When teachers transition to public life, they are often the first hired. They are often the first called and stick on juries. The list goes on and on. It's male genders like him that make me sick in the stands. Sure, I call out the coach for not seeing that Eastside is going to throw deep because there isn't anyone back there....:)..., but I'm not going to be a male member about kids wanting to enjoy their high school days, nor pretending I now about military members (other than my dad, uncle (lifetime), grandpa (lifetime) and what I hear about teachers in a similar vein.
  19. They named a school in your honor? It's a question, Muda, he can answer in the negative.
  20. It took some bounces for North, too, but then Wayne lost to South because they dropped the ball.
