Ben Davis to host IMG Academy
WolvesOnTheProwl replied to HoosierFB_JG's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Anyone know who the HC of IMG is these days? I had heard recently on a podcast it was Kyle Brey, son of ND bb coach Mike Brey, who played at Penn HS some years back. -

Portage Job

Not that it matters but remind me or tell me why did Buzz leave Portage? His decision or mutual? Program not even a shell of itself since he left. -

Joining the staff at Crown Point? Just kidding. Wonder if the DC Richards will apply for HC spot. -
@temptation seems like the yearly talk But do you expect Jim Harbaugh back next season?

Biggest off season of our lifetimes??

Next years schedule. Quick glance I’d take 10-2.

I was curious but didn’t see the last qb to do it. IMO Still somewhat hard to judge Tyler Buchnar because of the small sample size (just 3 games). I love how he never got rattled last night and came back to win the game he almost gave away…… but he has missed throws and had bad turnovers in all 3 games. Whoever they bring in as a transfer qb will at least give them more depth and a little competition never hurt anyone. If they can have a qb depth chart next year of Sam Hartman, TB, Angeli, and Minchey that would be a great start. Just have to wonder if they’ll all be in the ND QB room come August.

First player in 25 years with 2 rushing tds, 2 passing tds and 2 pick 6’s in a game.

So after being committed to ND since Jan 1 and then picking Oregon during his signing day yesterday (but not sending in his letter of intent) Peyton Bowen has now committed to Oklahoma. A huge loss for the Irish; ND really signed a nice class but losing both Keeley and Bowen stings as those 2 would mostly likely contribute from day 1.
-
The Moore recruitment was a bizarre one….silent commit to nd but still wanted to take other visits. Then he commits to Oregon after CJ Carr announces for ND. Then on Monday Moore decides to flip to UCLA. Peyton Bowen, committed since Jan 1 to Notre Dame, has his announcement where he picks up the Irish hat takes it off his head and puts on the Oregon hat. If you watch the video mom claps when he has the nd hat and stops once he dons the Oregon hat. As of this morning he still hasn’t sent his letter of intent to Oregon. Notre dame and Oklahoma are still recruiting him I guess. I just don’t understand why these kids commit in the first place when they don’t truly know where they want to be (or who will come in at the last minute with the biggest bag of $$$)

JK should be a team captain next season too. From everything I’ve gathered and read he seems like a great young man both on and off of the field.

Look good so far (up 10-7 early 2nd qtr). after the 3 and out to start the game, Michigan coming right down the field to go up 7-0, since Purdue has played really good on both sides of the ball. Lot of football to go
-
Agree. He will have 3 years of eligibility left and he will most likely get passed by incoming freshman qb Kenny Minchey and I’m sure a transfer quarterback, and then CJ Carr comes in the following year. Pyne statistically had a nice season but if you watched all of the games he could be frustrating to watch at times (missing some easy throws, open targets down field).

USC has to be out? Opens the he door for????

I'm shocked by how much QB DJ Uiagalelei has regressed. He played so well for an injured Trevor Lawrence back in 2020 but he has not been good since that game it seems. I was also surprised by how little he ran the ball against ND. Not sure if he's hurt or dealing with an injury that prevents him from running. I would agree that Clemson wasn't the #4 team, but they have an awful lot of talent and you can't take away what the Irish were able to do (which makes it more maddening they couldn't so this vs Stanford).

Does Mishawaka stand a chance?
WolvesOnTheProwl replied to Piratefan101's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Going to come down to possessions and taking care of the ball. IMO Both teams will score, albeit in different ways, but the team that gets the stops/turnovers wins the game. -
Michiana Regionals
WolvesOnTheProwl replied to npcougar15's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Will this be Sniders first trip to Mishawaka? When they played back to back years couple years back they were both in Fort Wayne. Snider in a game that could go either way, I think the panthers get enough stops on defense to win in the 4th quarter New Prairie since they’re clicking on all cylinders West Side in a battle of two completely different styles of offense North Judson, but I don’t know Park Tudor except they used to be really good in tennis -
Anyone catch that the two point play BK used vs FSU back in 2014? No pick called last night in Death Valley
-
First time all season the Irish played 4 quarters of football. Al Golden and Tommy Rees deserve a ton of credit; but the offensive line and the tackling by the defense really stood out to me. I can’t believe how dominant they were for the entire game. I did not see that coming. now which team will show up to play navy and BC before playing USC? Be quite an accomplishment to get to 10 wins after the start of the season.

Scary, I didn’t see it but heard about MH collapsing on the sideline. Was he ran into or did he just collapse? Hope he’s ok.

Temp’s Big Ten Rankings After Week 5
WolvesOnTheProwl replied to temptation's topic in The Next Level
Purdue, if they can win back to back weeks at Wisconsin and home vs Iowa, those are their biggest games
