    Mishawaka’s own Justin fisher has signed or will attend Notre Dame as a preferred walk on. Assuming he takes on the role as navy scout team quarterback or maybe they move him to running back. Congrats to Justin! In other news today I saw returning starting center Jarrett Patterson tore his pectoral muscle in the weight room. That would be a big blow to the offensive line if he misses a few games to start the season.

    Been that way since….. well I think always. Mishawaka and Speedway used to be the only schools without a school bus system. In Mishawaka there is a city bus service, Transpo, that kids could take but have to pay. No idea why it’s been this way but I know this guy walked to school 97% of the time from K-12, but luckily I was within walking distance. Has to be a pain for kids and parents who live further away.

    No expansion for the college football playoffs, going to stay with 4 teams until 2026. I’m ok with this, I’m anxious to see how the next couple of seasons play out and if there are more than 4 teams worthy of being in the playoffs.

    Her performance on the phone could never match her performance on the field. I’ve heard chatter that Ricky Watters should be a HOFer but I’d have to look at his numbers and compare. My guess is Zach Martin is next in line when he’s done. But with the door easier to get into I wouldn’t be surprised if Harrison smith ends up in the hall too. Just my thoughts.

    IMO you can’t compare Marcus Freeman to Jim Harbaugh. One is a boarder line HOF coach and the other has coached 1 game. ND had a top 10 college coach and he couldn’t get them to that next tier to what they aspire to be, and I think they needed a new voice.

    What's sad, as a Bears fan, is that you guys are debating who should be on the Mt. Rushmore, and none of those guys have played for the Bears in 50 years. I'd like to know if any other fan base has guys on their Rushmore who haven't played in as long????

    looking forward to all 4 games. I think the bengals might be able to run past the titans, and I’m anxious to see what type of workload Derrick Henry gets and how he plays. Think the 49ers hang around a little tonight but they’re not beating Rodgers In Green Bay and the Packers eventually pull away.

    Lance Taylor, rb coach and co OC last year supposedly, will leave and become the new OC at Louisville. He was a good coach and recruiter too. So if you’re scoring at home that leaves openings still at DC, DL, and RB coach. WR has been filled by a coach from Baylor, Chansi Stuckey and OL bringing back Harry Hiestand.

    DL Coach and recruiting coordinator Mike Elston is leaving ND to become the DL coach at Michigan. Big loss, one of my favorite assistant coaches.

    Saw that Hunter Johnson, formally of Clemson and Northwestern and Brownsburg HS, has entered the transfer portal. Just found it interesting that he's still playing college football.
