Can also be confusing as there are several schools that share the same lettering and, sometimes, there's an inconsistency, across sites, as to how they themselves refer to teams. Lafayette Central Catholic is usually abbreviated as LCC, which I believe might be unique in Indiana team lettering, but a lot of folks just listed it as CC which could also be Crawford County, Clinton Central, Columbia City, Covenant Christian, Corydon Central, and even Cambridge City Lincoln if folks call it . Across sites, it also ends up being an issue ... Chatard, for example, is Bishop Chatard on CalPreps, Indianapolis Chatard on Harrell's site, and Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on Maxpreps. Usually gets abbreviated BC, but around the Lafayette area, BC tends to be Benton Central ... although there may be a local Catholic contingent that thinks "Bishop Chatard" when they hear/see "BC." I think @hhpatriot04 has a good suggestion that can help in clarification as well as, as he states, also increase the reach/engagement of the tweets by using the school's Twitter handle. Would there be a way to pin on GID the Twitter handle of the various schools so that folks could see them? Or maybe join them together with the distribution map that would show you the school, their class, and maybe their Twitter handle?

Are they moving basketball to the fall and football to spring?

I tend to only follow on game days while out at a game. No real preference on the more/less aspect. I'm normally just checking for updated scores during game time, so as long as folks are posting them, that mainly all I come for on Twitter ... I don't even have a Twitter account.

Don't know if it's a thumbs up or down, but of 2019s state champs, there are as many wins as there are non-games across the first two weeks of the 2020 season.

Likely to be somewhat dry in the Lafayette area. McCutcheon is flag-only at the youth level. LCC isn't doing contact this fall. 56ers ... Jeff ... are playing in spring. Harrison is also playing in the spring. Faith Christian doesn't field football teams. St. James Lutheran doesn't do football either. Might check and see if Cass County league is playing this fall or MYL up in Monticello.

Could 8-man football be classified as a coed sport to get around that? I notice in the Final Forms classification at the school where my son plays football, the football program is listed as Coed Football whereas soccer is listed as Boys Soccer. Cheer is also listed as coed and wresting is also listed as coed. Baseball is listed as Boys Baseball.

Itching to see what LCC looks like finally this week. Missing two weeks of game play doesn't help and I think seeing Tri-West and Guerin in those first two weeks might have been a nice indicator as to whether LCC would be getting closer to reload or rebuild this season. If I had to pick two games to miss for the season, it wouldn't have been those two ... not that LCC had any choice.

Yes, 1A LCC played 6A Jeff in 2017. LCC and Jeff are roughly one mile apart from each other down Teal Road in Lafayette. Jeff won 54-0. This was the year that Coach O'Shea left and LCC went 2-7 in the regular season and finished the season 4-8 dropping the sectional final to eventual 2017 state champs, Pioneer. In that year, Jeff went 10-1 dropping the sectional final to Carmel.

Kind of like several artist who post their music for "free" or, more specifically, state "pay us what you think it's worth." Would also be smart to have the merch available online as well at that point. Between probably donations/payments could probably also move some additional merch that way.

I was actually thinking that LCC-AC was semi-state and that would likely put LCC-SA as a semi-state this year if it was different in that AC/SA regional.

This was last year's semi-state. Depending on what happens in Adams County, it could be a repeat if there's a post-season tourney this season.

Might depend on contact components for COVID. WLFI just announced within the hour that McCutcheon has a COVID case and folks in contact are on self-quarantine for 14 days. Might be someone who's not on football team or contacts not in the football cohort. Was really looking forward to LCC playing Guerin this season. I think that would have been a nice measuring stick for both teams. Unfortunately, LCC's missing the first two games of the season.

My boy will be down that way tomorrow with Harrison's freshman squad. Ouch!
