35-0 over Tech...ends the 23-game losing streak. House money next week against Ben Davis. The Giants should win easily, but Perry can put that losing streak behind them and build for the future.

Carmel wins this one. I think the Greyhounds are on a roll.

I am going to get the specifics wrong on this, but I believe that BD gave up eight big plays to Carmel and held them the rest of the time to less than 150 yards. BD gave Center Grove the ball three or four times on short fields. This team is better than its start. I think that the confidence is only continuing to build. They have to stay healthy and keep it rolling though.

Bet on the team that's shown up the last two times out (and in the OT loss to LN). BD's playing 1000 times better, and Coach Simmons again, for the second year in a row, has them playing their best ball in October into November. That confidence is only going to grow. I think the Giants will be a tough out.

In Marion County, it's totally governed by the county. You get to let the number in the county tells you to let in.

Tech does have a nice stadium.

Cathedral might as well make IPS an offer for that field.

In Marion County and around the MIC, I've seen only the teams wave at each other.

Depends on the county. I believe (don't quote me on this) Marion County has capped most high school events at 1,000 (or 25 percent capacity). Other counties, I believe, are in Stage 5 and have had the restrictions mostly lifted (with social distancing). Correction...1500 fans in Marion County or 50 percent capacity whichever is less.

The fact that we made it through the regular season. To be fair, these aren't your historically normal NC and LN squads.

BD has now finished in the top half of the MIC for the 23rd time in 25 MIC seasons. The loss to LN is so disappointing still. That close to being 5-4 and 5-2 in the MIC.

Depends on the teams playing, the venue, and the weather. A crowd of 5,000 can look like it fills up most stadiums, but that would be 50 percent capacity of Ben Davis and Warren's stadiums.

This is a great point. Competitive balance vs. the almighty dollar.

I absolutely agree with this idea. It's absolutely ridiculous that a team with a dominating record or that has had a great season has to go to an opponent with a lesser record or a worse season's home field for a playoff game. The best teams should have earned the right to play at home in Sectional and then have neutral sites in the Regional and Semi-State.

Ben Davis @ North Central - Really a coin flip game. I expect it to be a low scoring matchup. Giants eek it out 21-20. Cathedral @ Center Grove - CG has played with fire a little bit the last two weeks. They finally get burned. Cathedral 28, Center Grove 24 Lawrence Central @ Carmel - Carmel wins this one going away. 49-0 Lawrence North @ Pike - The Wildcats close out the season with a 14 point victory, 35-21. Michigan City @ Warren Central (Possible Game) - Warriors win this one by double digits, 35-7...if it happens.

Coach West has an impeccable reputation. I respect him tremendously as I respect Mr. Clayton and the Warren Athletic Department.
