  1. concur across the board on your statement my friend.... Even Warren acknowledged it.... said, My wife told me not to state deadlines.....loll
  2. we had a tech issue last year that caused issues on getting folks to be able to sign up: @DK_Barons fixed it over the off season.....
  3. He is our pyscho !!! Here is the Stadium Playbook still in my opinion: Bears pivoted to find the adjacent property to add the Course to the package as a viable add on that makes a lot of sense. From my seat.... Still one more Hurdle for Indiana folks to get the ink to paper and shovel in ground..... NOV 3, GOV ELECTION, Ole JB still has his ace up his sleeve.... Play tough guy for the money and votes..... wink at Bears, and once everyone gets their next names called on election night victory, then they will pivot and look like heroes.....and folks be mad for a moment and all will be forgotten.... counterpoint to that.... can Bears continue to watch cost rocket up without actually starting....
  4. Correct: that is my assessment as well. but maybe some industrial things come through our Corridor like it did for Lowell and Whitestown I know the big bad boogey man Data Center supposedly coming to Northern Jasper County, perhaps that increases families moving into our communities.
  5. We won state title in 2014 , Our HC is in the HOF and has earned 200 plus wins and has been here since 1999 as HC, OC (me) and DC have been with him from jump. We have had rosters of 31-33 last few years, (41 this year) We have lost over 150 students in 10 years. 529 was the number in 2014, we finished the school year last year at like 404. That is the issue, not the lack of not winning a sectional in a few years
  6. Buy all Bears O
  7. Frontier geographically has a nice pocket to pull from: like 10 mins from Harrison (6a) and their QB left from Tri County after his Soph year. Really no different from my neck of woods, there are families that will choose to go to Boone Grove instead of Crown Point: Takes 12 mins to get to BGHS, from Lake of 4 Seasons/Winfield area, where it takes 25 good minutes to get to CPHS school of 4000 and still growing
  8. We choose in Rensselaer Football to not even worry or care about those limited practice times in spring. I personally know it's tough right now: Our Hoops and FB kids, start at like 3:30 in the summer and finished at 8 pm it seemed. Hoops did workouts until 5:30: then we had our practice set for 6-8 in the summer.. Plus our weight program in mornings.
  9. don't know don't care I know where I got the polls sent from when they rolled out: I copy and posted here: Where that came from..... who know, need to ask @Titan32 where he pulled those screenshot from: My guess it was INPREPS based on my incredible context clues
  10. https://ifca.net/# Check out info here on how it could look
  11. Some nice additions from IFCA for those interested in seeing the 8 man videos and testimonials https://ifca.net/# there is a tab on top
  12. That Post was NOT from IFCA @Muda69 From the official IFCA post sent out to our Members : NO IDEA what Facebook (assuming ) post that came from from the OP 1A 1 Riverton Parke (3) 0-0 87 2 Pioneer (6) 0-0 86 3 South Adams (1) 0-0 59 4 Milan 0-0 48 5 North Judson 0-0 45 6 Springs Valley 0-0 38 7 Frontier 0-0 34 8 Sheridan 0-0 31 9 North Decatur 0-0 28 10 Laf. Central Catholic 0-0 22 Others receiving votes: Carroll (Flora) 0-0 (20), North Daviess 0-0 (15), North Miami 0-0 (11), Tri 0-0 (7), West Washington 0-0 (5), Churubusco 0-0 (4), West Central 0-0 (4)
  13. Stigma > gas / travel. IMO. South Newton informed their teams they are going 8 man football this year. Frontier and Benton Central have just announced looking for games for weeks 3 and 8.
  14. No Doubt, it was my understanding that many times those games were done with a multi game same day events.
  15. I have no issues with Co Op as an idea to get participation, but how to do it is the ultimate quagmire for me personally. I think state leaders and myself included from my personal belief, before CO OPs, schools should adopt 8 man. Not sure why INDIANA FB programs right now has some angst against it. Especially when there is a path to go from 8 to 11 when numbers improve. It's a change yes, but if the goal is to play a game of tackle football then 8 man is an OUTSTANDING choice for programs who are in this boat of this conversation . 8 man has over 1000 HS teams over 30 states. Not for Males Girls Flag is gaining momentum nation wide at HS and College levels
  16. RACK IT !!!!!
  17. Perhaps, but be interesting see what it looks like 3 years from now, vs 3 months since enacted Many reason why families choose to go places,,sure some WINNING is #1 or program culture, but that is nowhere near the sole or some could argue not even first priority, but for sure a factor for many.
  18. Typically IFCA will come out that Monday leading into Week 1, so after the Week 0 scrimmage is my guess.... from my memory
  19. Bingo There is not 1 admin in the state of Indiana that would be okay taking on CO OP that pushes their school "UP A CLASS" to just take on a handful of athletes..... Now, if a Co Op model is set up where that is NOT an automatic take on full enrollment of said school then let's talk........but until then, as is, no chance
  20. DEM FIGHTING WORDS !!!!!!!
  21. you got him good Tooney !!!! 2 years later..... That "Rook" probably was right then and we know he was NOW
  22. HUDL great for large budgets...... HUDL. kills small schools with tough funding situations. Our package last year was 11K....... not sure how much longer that is sustainable for us Our Stat guys currently. (2) one is on clipboard for defense the other IPAD for HUDL LIVE STAT, then I will personally tag the Offense plays, formations, play call, yardage etc etc etc on data in Hudl Library, when I get done with that, I compare it to the live stats that was done and they are usually pretty darn close few yards here or there..... Defense Staff will do the same and stat tackles etc off film to compare to clipboard. We have another volunteer who runs EZ Drone and we then have a youth coach upstairs with yet another IPAD, to just live record each play upstairs. that is our version of "HUDL REPLAY". With a roster around 30-40 any given year, we have multiple 2 way players, so yeah, we are not setting up TVs Tents and have full on platoon meetings on our sidelines considering on change of possession we typically have about 2 on 2 off these days. :). And yes many times when we played schools bigger than us in our conference or a 2a school like Andrean with 80 guys on their roster and 16 coaches and 2 platoon many places, so when they come off and see and adjust in game, it does become an advantage, but don't take this part as sour grapes at all, just the reality of the technology investment availability and all that deal
  23. It was literally the proposal..... combine enrollment..... shot down..... So Sheridan says, we will Co-Op with TC: That pushes Sheridan from 1a to 2 a for ALL THEIR SPORTS..... good luck with selling that to your school when you're taking on a few football players from another school. The model as written for Co Op is what I have the issue with, because it effects too much overall for 1 sport in this case football. This is a local Co op proposal,
