  1. for sure; Just will suck to pay up for that position but that's the market.... IF , POLES and crew DECIDE to, but man, I know CW18 was on record saying that Dalman got him out of some bad checks on protections all year, so we need someone who is going to continue that trend unless CW18 next GIANT step he takes is that with is improved accuracy , but I much prefer the CENTER to make that call
  2. Same reason why I am finding excuses to make my way back to OLEY'S !!!!!!
  3. You sure about that as he was NOT the best CENTER available but going to coast 18-23 a year .... BUT Higher salary cap means higher salaries.
  4. Merged both Threads on same topic into 1
  5. it started as a Tennis prep factory originally
  6. North Newton now open after Coach Ewing resigned last night
  7. Outstanding HIRE: Loved working with him at Manchester Team Camp over the years
  8. LOVED That; Never seen that one before; Truer now then ever with virtual cesspool many fan bases live in online
  9. Haven't dug in yet on that guy Washington cut. To have cleared and got under the Cap by the retirement of Dalman and trading and not having to eat any money on DJ Moore is an INCREDIBLE start to the off season C LT S LB RB (unless we roll with Swift and Mongaai again) Fun times!!! Exciting
  10. which brings back to the initial IFCA proposal that Commish Cox tore up and did it his way anyways.. 4 year cycle, vs 2 year, I think it was 10 points not 6 points in those 4 years, that would of addressed that immediately Then the ole loopholes started and teams on classification years go a pass if it worked out there way, so now we have the "rolling Success Factor" vs having it attached to just the just reclassification years
  11. And how has playing in their current conference negatively impacted their post season play? Coach: Kyle Ralph, 155-14 in 14th year at school 13 years: 14 total losses. (I won't hold this South All Star loss to his overall record in Summer of 2015 🙂. ) Coach Ralph's Program Year 1: Semi State 2: Won 4a State 3: Lost 5a State 4: 9-0 Lost to Columbus East round 1, who lost to Westfield in State 5a Finals 5: 10-1 lost Setional Final 5a Zionsvilel by 2 6: 5A State Champs 7: 5A State Champs 8: 5a Lost Sectional final to Whiteland 9: Lost 5a Regional to Cathedral (lost Conf game to Mt Vernon) 10: Lost 4a Regional to Roncalli (lost conf game to Mt Vernon) 11: Lost 4a Semi State to East Central (Opened season with 2 losses to Decatur Central / Westfield) 12: Won 4a State 13: Won 5a State 14: Playing 5a ????????? So again: How does their conference impact their success in the post season again ?? I believe the goals of every team in state of Indiana is to be playing their best ball come Tournament time. Seems that their schedule has not hindered them in the least, so going Independent is hardly needed
  12. Just found out: IC started JV in 2025 season, will play JV ball in 2026, and Varsity in 2027, YEAR 2 of this current cycle makes sense From my memory, I believe so
  13. Just found out: IC started JV in 2025 season, will play JV ball in 2026, and Varsity in 2027, YEAR 2 of this current cycle makes sense
  14. Right on, followed from WAY far, but remember a HUGE SR class of success.
  15. That is when they jumped across the border: Illiana Christian was Illinois school until 2018-19, then they announced and started the process, then by 2022, they went through the process to become IHSAA eligible for all sports. Now they have added Football recently
  16. Cascade from my memory had an unbelievable SR class this past year, so lets say that 90% of their O/D production has graduated, why should the the classes behind them get penalized ? For point of conversation
  17. But POLES is terrible.........
  18. Cool, hope it worked out well for them, if that is the choice the family made I mean we are in a state that now allows a 1 time transfer 1st 6 semesters and now we are going to have panic set in that a school in Indiana is playing IMG I just don't see the the reason for the hysteria or worry or whatever you want to call it
  19. Fair enough seems to be from my seats a whole lot of noise about a whole lot of nothing To each their own
  20. Remember though, this is somewhat misleading: For instance; Adams Central is 3a but SF with Lower end 2A enrollment Same with Lakeland is solid 3a, but bc pushed down to 2a with SF then that number is also misleading on the conversations of GAPS. One thing is still jarring for me personally, I am now in year 23 at Rensselaer, we've been as high as the 540s in my time, now, we are only 62 students away from the 1a top...... I looked this week: K-5th grade, we have only 600 total bodies. They are in the list, this maybe their "JV" year, then in 2027 would be in the tournament series, however, not sure if IHSAA makes schools transition in that way or not. I can do some digging to my Northern Region 1 pals. see what I come up with
  21. and my point is folks opining on what is best for New Pal is unfounded because there is just noise WELL outside the circle that is Ben Davis and now New Pal Fascinating Instead of the potential of one of our states premier programs, pound for pound, deciding to take on one of the nations best, we have fans and now coaches questioning the decision that has zero impact to their own programs or the programs the fans are involved with. I would be more inclined to be, on the side of the coin of, give them the business Dragons and we are behind you !!! That's just me
  22. How does Indiana HS coaches coming together to black ball IMG prove a point or send a message? How many Indiana Football HS players have left their home school to pay over 90k a year (granted could get lower with scholarships) ?
  23. my ole point of conversation is once again to show how much it truly is wild Wild West STILL..........
