  1. My wife is a BRHS alum, and I have seen they are a complete juggernaut in athletics. If they had a football team (very small enrollment), they'd win state every year.
  2. It may be a little under 2000 miles away, but the field/stadium at Hart HS in Santa Clarita, CA is quite an experience.
  3. The Kougars with a K would be a good fit with fellow members NCC Highland, Hobart, and Lowell bring there already. I just wonder if East Chicago Central and/or Gary West fans would travel all the way to northern Jasper County.
  4. Wouldn’t 1700 be pushing 5A?
  5. Or would the new Hammond school? Sorry, Coach: didn’t see your post...
  6. Hope all is well, Dann!
  7. Thanks! One down and one to go.
  8. Lowell High School has been in and out of quarantine all year long. Therefore, my son has been online learning all year long. BTW, he was accepted into Honors College at his university next fall. That, or free lunches.
  9. Maybe not this year, but in the future. Then again, it’s good to see Jeffersonville is playing a fellow big school as opposed to a little one. I just liked the play on words: JEFFersonville vs. Lafayette JEFFerson. Yes, I’m that bored working from home.
  10. His wife in the flick was a hottie. Saw her in the Copenhagen airport once, very tall.
  11. How about the Red Devils get on I-65 and play the Bronchos to make it a Jeff vs. Jeff tilt?
  12. I think Henry Clay (Lexington), Lafayette Jeff, Middletown (Ohio), Mater Dei, and Lowell would make great opponents.
  13. I’m all for teams to up their game in the wake of Madison’s departure as they should not schedule another lightweight. Competitively, maybe a team from another part of the state such as Ft. Wayne or the Region. Logistically, cross the border into Kentucky (Lexington area as opposed to Luh-ville) or Ohio. Also Evansville or Terre Haute...
  14. I love the "get better" analogy...
  15. just keeping it real...
  16. Then again, conspiracy theories do make it more fun and provide an outlet for some unnamed posters...
  17. Thanks for the clarification!
  18. Great questions. It's not every year, but rather every 2 or (maybe 3) years. Then again, my alma mater currently won't be moving up anytime soon, but in the cyclical nature of high school sports, anything is possible. Play a few holes at Palmetto Dunes for me.
  19. I’m in total agreement as combing a few mediocre 3 and 4A team’s doesn’t always translate into a 6A power. Hammond Central may have a shiny new cafeteria and library, but that does not guarantee success on the gridiron.
  20. A swing and a miss...
