    Is Brownsburg poised to take over Center Grove's throne as the top 6A program in Central Indiana? It certainly feels like they are knocking on the door. John Hart has posted a 69-18 record during his first eight seasons and his program seems to be getting better and better. In comparison, Eric Moore was 66-31 during his first eight seasons. Great programs aren't built over night.

    Kind of sad that LN has to play Cathedral in the first round. Another case of IHSAA's failed system. I still think Fishers is a good team, but like you, I wonder which team will show up.

    Fishers? They're the epitome of inconsistency. Brownsburg doesn't seem to have any of those down weeks like some of the other programs do. Not counting last seasons epic "down quarter."

    They looked impressive against North Side. They punched early and North punched back, but ultimately the Redskins couldn't keep up. They looked like a special team to me at the time as they sliced through North like butter, but then again, they weren't the first team to beat North by multiple scores.

    I'm not a well known handicapper by any stretch of the imagination. I was thinking trap game.

    Close game either way. Roncalli with the upset.

    I think it really depends on how the scrimmage is run by the head coach. The only way to truly know if Columbus North beat LN would be to ask LN's head coach. If Snider were judged by their scrimmage every year, they'd barely crack the 2A Top 10.

    Strength of schedule has to come into play. Certainly you wouldn't have them as the four seed if the playoffs were decided right now. I mean damn, IU's undefeated too, but they're not even ranked ahead of LSU.

    All IU fans can hope for is that Cignetti's wife loves Bloomington so much she puts her foot down to anymore moves. It is a beautiful place. Bob Knight came back for a reason.

    C'mon Temp. Root against an entire program who's never tasted success because a few fans are excited about finally having a great coach and turning the program around? Give IU fans their glory, it'll be short lived anyway. Power five programs all over the country are licking their chops at the opportunity to offer Cignetti a MASSIVE contract. I know I would if I were an AD.

    I can get on board with good Fishers. Carroll is out. They already lost by multiple scores to HSE and Center Grove. Beating Wayne by 1pt wasn't super impressive, although it was a windy rain game. If Snider goes back to the the offense they ran against Homestead, I think I'll take them over Carroll in the rematch. But that's a big "if." The north will come down to Crown Point vs Indy Burbs in the end.

    Well, front runners are Brownsburg, Westfield, and Lawrence North. Next man up would be Cathedral, Center Grove, Crown Point, and Hamilton Southeastern. So yeah, seven teams in my opinion who have a legitimate shot.

    Too many state title appearances for Memorial. Share the love and let someone else go to Indy.

    It's been said on here that Cathedral doesn't have a pipeline. Any truth to that? Where do their kids come from mostly? Honest question, not trying to start a smear campaign here.

    I can't add anymore to this conversation until I see Memorial play. You certainly seem impressed with them. All I can say is it's going to be a fun state finals weekend.

    I get what you're saying, that offense was a well oiled machine. Good team for sure, and it's understandable why so many people were impressed with them last year. The Moeller game was an eye opener. I think I'll just stop at congratulating them on their 4A state title and give them props for being one of the best five teams in the state last year regardless of class.
