Are you sure these numbers are right? I came up with 4 in about 30 seconds just from the Evansville area (Castle - Warrick County Schools, Reitz - EVSC)

Well looks they had another even larger group of players pulled out. Sorry for those kids and seniors. No offense meant with earlier post. Really surprised someone tried to run a power I offense against EC. They are too big for that.

Maybe the South Spencer win bs TC was not all due to COVID players sitting. I thought they were all back this week. State Law they had to sit out.

Another great EC Roncalli game. Who whudda thunk?

Here is how it works from what I read: 1.) Get six points during classification period, you move up. 2.) Get a total of 2 points during the next classification period, you stay up. So basically, if you were moved up and then win sectionals in the next two years of the next period until the end of time the school will never drop down. Cathedral is a pretty good example. Still up in 5A even though they have not won state in several years. They are currently at 1 point and will win sectionals for sure. (Probably 5A state champion.)

For some reason I watched quite a bit of game. North RB seems like he breaks a long TD or 25 yard run or gets stuffed at the line for a 1 yard. Did not see a consistent ground game last night of driving down the field.

Paid tonight to watch Roncalli Harrison game tonight and was disappointed in performance. (Skipping, lag, cutting out) wondering if it was due to Harrison broadcast or has anyone else had same issues on other broadcasts of if it was just this one?

Love the optimism, but how is MD going to score 18 points against North? North has not allowed more than 14 to date and MD is averaging 9 per game.

Whoops. Yep, both were “big”school titles that included all of the current large 6A schools.

There you go, bringing facts and data up again! 😁 I have been out of town a while, but never would have guessed MD had more SIAC titles than Castle. I think the two 5A titles Lidy won influenced the perception of Castle (maybe rightfully so, not meant to be a knock at all).

Rex Mundi was the North Side Catholic school. (Memorial = Eastside, MD = Westside) it was on first ave and I believe it is now still the Ivy Tech building. I have heard that there was not the enrollment to keep it. (My dad graduated from MD around the time it closed)

Roncalli 30 FC 6 Lot of turnovers for FC (3) after Roncalli gives up a turnover on a punt snap that I did not see.
