    IU 2024

And poor ole Anthony can't play for the Colts with a sore back!
  2. Way too much bidness for this old fan!
  3. So? I still won't be watching.
  4. Again, Coach Freeman had a tough learning curve, but one thing he's done, and it's big, is bring back team spirit to Notre Dame football. It's been gone for a long time and now it's back. Can't wait 'til Thursday night!
  5. I don't watch much NFL stuff. I stick with the high school and college ball. I only know that Tomlin is the most tenured coach in the League. On edit, I do watch the Colts, because they're the local team, but they don't play professional football too often.
  6. All four teams that received a bye, lost this week!
  7. Marcus Freeman has brough back the spirit at Notre Dame!
  8. The Irish get some nice hardware too!
  9. It's on to the Orange Bowl and Penn State now!😊
  10. The Irish scored 17 points in about a minute over the end of the first half and the start of the 2nd half. The Irish ran back the 2nd half kickoff to take a 20-3 lead.
  11. Irish hang 10 on the Bulldogs in the last minute of the half, and have a 13-3 halftime lead.
  12. My one wish would be to lengthen the overtime yardage to at least 15 yards to enable a team to get a first down.
  13. Sugar Bowl is a 4PM Eastern tomorrow.
  14. Scoreboard says that Saban won a lot of Natty's, compared to Jimmy's one. There's a wide margin there.
  15. Penn State 31, Boise State 14, for those who haven't watched. The Nittanys get an extra day of rest or preparation for the semis.
  16. Wrong commentary too!
  17. Harbaugh couldn't sniff Nick's undergarments!
  18. No, I agree, Jimmy would be a welcome addition to the house cleaning. Maybe he's just too busy with all his antique guitars to care anymore. Well, it ain't the fans, that's for sure!
  19. He already was during his years as Alabama coach!😉
  20. I keep hearing about the Irish OL and Leonard, but the Irish RB's don't seem to be having too many problems with the OL. I am glad that the Irish coaches have modified the game plan to take advantage of Leornard's strength. I hope he has the game of his life tomorrow night!
  21. So, IU beat Michigan, and Michigan beats Alabama. So, I watched Finebaum today for a bit to see what his excuse will be for the 'Bama loss, as he kept telling us that Alabama belonged in the CFP ahead of the Hoosiers. He was mighty quiet today after the game, but I'm sure he'll spin things sometime soon.
  22. I can only take McAfee in short spurts. He's a bit too cute for my liking. But I've agreed with his analysis on this from the beginning. It doesn't take much intellect or football knowledge to figure out that the house needs to be cleaned on 56th St.
  23. I'm kind of freaked out that 2025 is just two days away!😵
  24. He pulled the plug a bit early last week and almost allowed a Titans comeback, and Coach called for the trick play involving Mitchell in the Denver game. He's also to blame for the lackluster game the Colts played yesterday. It's not just a one game thing, it's now a hat trick. Also, it's been fun listening to Colt representatives and TV and radio personalities make excuses for the game yesterday. There's not enough spin in this world to answer for that lack of effort, in the biggest game of the season no less. Doyel was one of the few that told it like it was,
  25. Whatever it takes! Maybe a full housekeeping is in order! IMO, a "sore back" in the biggest game of the year is quite sad for a "professional" QB.
