  1. Wow! Da Bears! 31-14 lead after 3, against the Cowboys.
  2. 41-20 final. Colts are now 3-0 and in first place in the division.
  3. Bigtime TD run by Jonathon Taylor! That's a must see! Colts up 34-13 now in the 3rd.
  4. Nice Colt drive to open up the 2nd half. They even scored a TD! 27-6 early in the 3rd quarter.
  5. The Colts jump out to a 17-6 lead. They are just so conservative in the red zone. Shrader just kicked his 11th field goal of the season, already, on the last play of the half. Colts up 20-6 at halftime. I'd like to see some creativity from them the 2nd half. Maybe a pass to the end zone when they're in the red zone.
  6. That was an epic IU beatdown, considering they were only a 4.5 point favorites before the game. Iowa is up next on the road. Should be another IU win. Then they have a big one against Oregon. That's when we find out just how good this Hoosier team really is. Cignetti is one hellavu coach!
  7. This has turned out to be a freaking track meet! Irish up 42-23, early in the third quarter. Not much defense on either side.
  8. The 1:31 that's left will be tacked onto the 2nd half. They are considered at halftime break now after the hour+ of lightning delay.
  9. His defense has been bad so far this season! Thank God for the offense, and not just in this game. Except for the fumble, the Irish offense has been clicking, and running the ball has made that happen. It's good to see Mark Zackery playing and playing well!
  10. His defense been bad so far this season! Thank God for the offense, and not just in this game. Except for the fumble, the Irish offense has been clicking, and running the ball has made that happen.
  11. Well, that series answered my question. The Irish defense ain't stoppin' anyone this year, until Marcus takes over the defense. That drive should be embarrassing to the Irish!
  12. I hope the Irish defense can find itself today! 26.5 is a lot to overcome if they're giving up points like they have been. Scoring hasn't been much of a problem.
  13. Maybe Luke Fickell needs to go too. Wisconsin lost, at home, to Maryland 27-10, and the Badgers scored their TD in the last minute. The Coach just stood on the sideline and chewed his gum. He never changed his expression the whole game. Maybe he has a huge contract buyout?
  14. Oh my!
  15. Tulsa 19, Oklahoma State 12. Gundy's seat has to be red hot by now, especially after a 3-9 record last year. He's been the OSU coach for 21 years, and recently agreed to a cut in salary.
  16. I parked next to the Southport coach's father-in-law and I asked what was the problem. He said we're young, we're not very big and we don't have much talent. It's a shame that a school of that size doesn't have some football players. They're similar to North Central and Tech in that respect.
  17. Oklahoma State is losing to Tulsa with about 7 minutes left, 19-9. It doesn't look good for Mike Gundy's job after losing 69-3 last week.
  18. Cathedral 54, Southport 0. The Cardinals haven't scored this season. The Irish pulled their starters early in this one, and all that dressed seemed to get in the game. Southport has a great facility, it was their homecoming, but they just couldn't score even against Irish JV. I do give them credit for playing hard.
  19. Not this Irish fan! I'll be glad to just get a win!
  20. My wife and I were Racer season ticket holders and rabid fans of the team back in the 1970's. I will always cherish those days as I was privileged to see Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Davey Keon and many more greats, granted in the twilight of their careers but they still had some skills. I also saw some up and coming stars like Marc Tardiff, and of course Wayne Gretzky. We were witnesses to Gretzky's first professional goal, something to remember. Whether Indy is capable of supporting an NHL franchise, is anyone's guess. I'm too old to even worry about it. I still watch a lot of NHL games and try to follow the league the best I can. It's an amazing sport to watch in person. I also enjoy watching on TV, but I hear a lot of folks say it's difficult to follow the puck. Even at my advanced age I find that not the case for me. I just watch wherever the players are grouped, or where they're heading.
  21. The Irish SOS is sure pretty good!😉
  22. Just stating facts. It's not close enough for sectionals to get too excited. Besides, I'm an Irish homer!😉
  23. New Pal's biggest game was against Decatur Central. Cathedral has played Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Cincinnati St. X and Bishop Chatard to date, with Center Grove and Warren Central yet to come. Don't base your opinions on W's and L's!
  24. It's good to hear the opponent's fans whining about the officials for a call for once.
  25. Yeah, someone else thought so: Former NFL Ref Blasts SEC Officials After Notre Dame vs. Texas A&M Finish
