  1. Brownsburg is in the upper 30th and Cincinnati St X was 105th. Those were the last two Cathedral opponents!
  2. Owen is a stud, and he's a fine young man, as is his dad and grandad! It's a big loss for the Irish offense, both pass catching and blocking.
  3. It helped dedicating the game to Jimmy Irsay too. Lots of good football last Sunday. Hope it carries on.
  4. Not good streaming reception on Prime tonight. Watched a bit but finally had to give up. Wanted to watch Terry McLaurin catch some footballs.
  5. So, they're putting the old band back together! No surprise.
  6. It's just reality! Losing to Brownsburg and Cincinnati St. X is not a big loss, but not scoring a TD in either game is. And the Irish scored only 8 points, a TD and 2 point conversion against Ben Davis. And it doesn't get much easier tomorrow night!
  7. I don't know about unique or old school, but a run around end is a trick play for the Cathedral Irish, so far this season. The offense is quite conservative and has scored only one TD and two field goals total so far in three games. Granted, the opposition has been quite talented, and that won't change much for Friday night. I'd like to hear the school song a lot more!
  8. This is usually a fun neighborhood game! I look for more of the same Friday night. I sure hope the Irish can find the end zone some!
  9. Daniel Jones was such a big success that Hendricks County named a road after him!😉
  10. MNF, Bears 10, Vikings 6 at halftime.
  11. I haven't had the chance to see Carmel yet this season, but I have to believe they wouldn't match up to Brownsburg's elite speed. 6A has their hands full with the Bulldogs this season.
  12. I sure hope you're right! It's just so strange not scoring! BTW, Brownsburg's the real deal!
  13. Bless you for all the hard work!
  14. It hard to believe that Cathedral would be favored against Bishop Chatard! The Irish have had serious offensive problems in their first three games. Oh well, it's always a good one, and this will be at Butler.
  15. The Irish have the same record that they had last year at this point, 1-2, but they have scored on TD and two field goals so far total in the 3 games. No passing offense at all. It didn't help that TE Own Peterson was injured in the Brownsburg game, and he's probably done for the year. He was the only Irish to score a TD. With a 2nd year QB, Cameron Koers, two returning running backs and a more experienced OL, you would think they could score some. It seems the receivers have a difficult time getting open, and then when open, they have trouble catching the ball. I look for that to improve. Of course, the schedule hasn't been too kind either. What happened to playing an easier opening game to get momentum going? Bishop Chatard won't be an easy opponent this week wither.
  16. Notre Dame needs to play seriously in both halves, not just the 2nd one! Maybe they took the 'Canes a bit lightly. Oh well, on to the home opener with Texas A&M. I just listened to Coach Freeman's presser and he didn't back down from the fact that they have to play 60 and not 30 minutes.
  17. The Colts just need to replicate yesterday's game, 16 more times! Nothing much to dislike about that game!
  18. Wait a minute! Am I having my normal late day hallucinations, or are we back?
  19. Quite comprehensive! Lookin' forward to the season starting!
  20. The Colts just named Daniel Jones the week one QB starter.
  21. I guess it's a done deal! It's good to get back!
  22. It's good to be back! Friday it all begins again!🙂
  23. It's almost here! Our beloved game is only a few weeks away now! It can't wait!
