    In the Sagarin ratings, Cathedral's SOS is #4 and New Palestine's SOS is #57. Cathedral has played three out of state teams that don't count in those ratings. Not predicting anything, but just stating what Sagarin's computers are thinking.

    The Cathedral Irish are 6-3 going into the playoffs, against some of the best competition in the area. QB out, no problem, Irish 28, Warren Central 21. They won at Center Grove and Warren Central! Not a bad resume! Oh, and I'm really glad to see that temp picked New Pal. 😉

    Good win for the Irish! Finish the regular season with a 6-3 record with a big time schedule! Jimmy Pappas ran for close to 250 yards on close to 40 carries. Final stats later. I wasn't at the game, I've been battling a reparatory virus all week. Watched on Indiana SRN, and I want to thank them for the free stream!

    Iowa could use James if Ferentz retires. They think 9-3 records are just fine out there. It's proof that IU is now a football school too! It sure took 'em awhile to get there!

    It's good to see IU taking football seriously! Lots of money to be make. A lot of difference in revenue from crowds of 30-35,000 to a sellout, 50,000+. And that's not just in ticket sales either. Hats and shirts are everywhere!

    Again, I probably didn't state that quite like it should have been. I meant 10 or 15 yard penalties, but 3rd and 3 from the five, the half the distance penalty means you still get two downs to score from close in.
