  1. I found the game on the radio of all places. Not sure the station as my radio is quite old, as is its owner. It may be 93.5 thefan.
  2. I could not get it to work. I'll just follow along on Max Preps.
  3. It's not on Comcast in Indianapolis. It used to be on channel 81, but volleyball is on there. I guess maybe I'll get to watch a replay in the morning. No radio also. Now ladies basketball is on channel 81.
  4. I guess there's a good chance I won't be able to see or hear the 6A game live. I've been able to watch games pre-empted by the Pacers on Comcast channel 81 in the past. It looks like there's no way that's happening this year. Also, the Pacer game is broadcast on the same radio station as the other state finals, so no good there. And I'm not paying for the stream either.
  5. I wish everyone a very blessed Thanksgiving! Lots of football to watch!
  6. That was wet heavy snow too. I loved the way it was sticking to those with beards.
  7. Interception #3 for Morrison. White out in South Bend!
  8. Irish got robbed! That was a backward pass that was fumbled, scooped and scored! Irish score anyway. They're up 30-0.
  9. IU scores in 2nd OT and gets two point conversion. MSU ball now.
  10. Irish freshman Benjamin Morrison with two interceptions in the first quarter today! Irish up 17-0 late first quarter.
  11. Sit back and enjoy what we have. Nothing much better in sport, than high school playoff football!
  12. Last night reminded me of the 2009 game at Reitz Bowl against Reitz. The Irish got manhandled 31-10 and lost Kofi in the first half. That was also a semi-state game. The Irish have lost 5 semi-state games since 2001, one to Center Grove, Columbus East and Jasper, and two to Evansville Reitz. Cathedral has lost only four games in the last three seasons, and three of those losses were to Center Grove. The Irish now have an overall record of 771 wins and 300 losses.
  13. The weather last night was much better than regional week, imo. I was dressed a bit warmer for this one but I never got the least bit uncomfortable. The wind was the big difference last week. The Good Lord willin', I'll be back at it next season!
  14. It has been a very good season for the Irish. I wish it had ended a bit more competitively but the Trojans were the better team last night, by a wide margin. A lot of blame can go around for the Irish performance the last 3 quarters, but to be honest, they were just outplayed. I hope I'm around to see the next edition of Cathedral football. Hats off to Center Grove and good luck next week against Carroll. Irish radio announcer, Jim McLinn, put it best last night. Expectations every season are for an Irish state championship, no matter the class. This was a very good season, but not a great one. The Irish were inexperienced at a lot of key positions, and last night some of that was exposed. See you all next year!
  15. Irish played poorly and the Trojans didn't Good luck to them in the state title game! More later.
  16. 2003, IIRC, at Zionsville. It was 38 degrees and raining. It was hazardous just getting to your seat. Also the 1973 semi-state game at Bloomington, before North and South. It was about 25 degrees and windy. Thank God I was a drinker then!
