  1. Oh yeah! He was rusty for sure. Missed a lot of throws early in the game but came through when he was needed. The Wake Forest QB better be good. It looks like an interesting spring for the Irish.
  2. Thanks for that! I guess that's somewhat of an achievement, at least the rushing and passing TD part.
  3. Not many times when a QB throws two pick sixes does his team win. As they said on the postgame, they had it won, gave it away and then went down and won it. Good start for next season. Buchner threw 3 picks, but played pretty well, in fact he was chosen as the game MVP. Estime just runs over folks, but he can also hit the corner for big yards. Good things to come for the Irish.
  4. The Irish had a 38-31 lead and the ball inside the 10, with the biggest running back in the game in the backfield, and Buchner throws a 100 yard pick six. That's one of the biggest blunders in many years! The had the Gamecocks beat and threw the ball right to them! Still time for a game winning drive!
  5. Pick six for SC, and they're up 21-7 in the first quarter. Looks like it could be a long day for the Irish.
  6. The Irish look slow and rusty early on, especially defensively.
  7. I hope the Hartman rumors are true, and I hope he has a dynamite season in South Bend, and elsewhere of course. I wished that the Irish would have played LSU in a bowl game this year. Now that would have been fun.
  8. I honestly don't care who wins. But I enjoy the CFP more than the Super Bowl.
  9. The Catholic Church doesn't ban you, you ban yourself. It's always your choice.
  10. Another QB, but the same results. IMO, Ballard should be the next to be shown the door. I understand Jimmy said he'd be back but he's the one pulling the trigger on some bad football players.
  11. It was good, despite COVID and frozen water pipes!😊
  12. I sure hope all here have a very blessed Christmas, and a very exciting and fun 2023! Is it August yet?
  13. It would make for some more commercial time with a lengthy review.
  14. At 18 years old, it's easy to get you head spun with pretty things or by money. NIL does have a bearing on some's choice, for sure. Legacy and loyalty will undoubtedly take a hit.
  15. The Boilermakers will be happy with Jaron Tibbs!
  16. Maybe it's because they're only 18 years old, or so.
  17. I understand the actual 50 year anniversary is tomorrow. I was just paying tribute to the play at Franco's passing. I had been married a year when that play occurred. 😍
  18. I remember the "immaculate reception" like it was yesterday! RIP!
  19. I have no "likes" left but I like this. It's a shame that the defense can sometimes actually gain advantage with a penalty inside the 30 yard line. Of course, I respectfully disagree.
  20. My suggestion is the same every year for awhile now. I would like to see OT start from, at least, the 15 yard line so a team could gain a first down and making a FG attempt a little more challenging. Preferably, it would even be better to begin at the 25 yard line like college OT.
  21. Quite touching! He was quite a person!😎
