  1. The Irish defense still isn't up to ND standards. Arkansas had it's way most of the way down the field, but settled for a field goal. The Irish responds with some Love! 7-3
  2. I have Peacock because I'm a Notre Dame fan, and they have a lot of Irish content.
  3. Today's game is only on Peacock!
  4. Well, I've finally crawled out of bed and I'm ready to face the noon to midnight college football day. Last night was one of those games that those who stayed to the end with remember for a long time, if not forever. It seems the Irish have finally found their offense, but four turnovers, 3 fumbles lost and a pick six interception have to be taken care of. That's not going to win most games. And the Irish had at least three scoring chances that they didn't complete. Also, the game didn't end at the end of the third quarter, but the Irish played very conservatively, even going three and out with about 3 minutes left. But a last second win on homecoming night is always good!
  5. Cathedral 32, Trotwood Madison (OH) 28. The Irish had a 25-6 lead after 3 quarters and gave up 22 4th quarter points to fall behind 28-25. The Irish got the ball back with 1:37 left in the game, and they drove the field to score the winning TD with 16 seconds left. Trotwood Madison was one fine football team! Hat's off to 'em!
  6. Well, I can't change the heading of this thread by editing it. So, I'll just let everyone know that Cathedral escaped with a 32-28 win over Trotwood Madison. The Irish held a 25-6 lead after 3 quarters and then gave up 22 unanswered points to go behind 28-25 with 1:37 left in the game. The Irish then drove the field and scored the winning TD with 16 seconds left. It was a barnburner to say the least. Hats off to a very good Trotwood Madison Ram team! More in the morning. I'm worn out!
  7. All that remains to be seen. Losing to Brownsburg and St. X doesn't make Cathedral a bad team yet. The schedule is still 6a heavy. We'll all know more in a month or so.
  8. Brian Kelly?😄
  9. I don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon, if at all, but he will be tempted.
  10. I've witnessed a few games at the Allen County Coliseum back in the day, late 1970's and early 1980's, after the Racers were folded in December 1978. I enjoyed the atmosphere up there and I'm sure the enthusiasm is the same now as it was then. Hockey is an incredible game to watch, especially in person!
  11. I've seen a bit of video from Trotwood Madison, but it was rather limited. I'm not sure what to expect, except they lost to Center Grove 31-20 last week at home. Their QB seems to be a dual threat and quite capable both ways. It looks like it could be a good one. I believe there will be no live stream for this game. Also, it's Cathedral's homecoming game.
  12. We shall see! It's still a ways to late October and November. It's not going to be easy to win that sectional. And the rest is as you say, no cakewalk for anyone.
  13. I would have bet that the Badgers would be at the top of the heap and not conservative spenders. Anyway, it's sure good to be back again!
  14. That's the problems for IU. There will be teams kicking Cig's tires and offering him a lot of money, you can count on it.
  15. Wow! Da Bears! 31-14 lead after 3, against the Cowboys.
  16. 41-20 final. Colts are now 3-0 and in first place in the division.
  17. Bigtime TD run by Jonathon Taylor! That's a must see! Colts up 34-13 now in the 3rd.
  18. Nice Colt drive to open up the 2nd half. They even scored a TD! 27-6 early in the 3rd quarter.
  19. The Colts jump out to a 17-6 lead. They are just so conservative in the red zone. Shrader just kicked his 11th field goal of the season, already, on the last play of the half. Colts up 20-6 at halftime. I'd like to see some creativity from them the 2nd half. Maybe a pass to the end zone when they're in the red zone.
  20. That was an epic IU beatdown, considering they were only a 4.5 point favorites before the game. Iowa is up next on the road. Should be another IU win. Then they have a big one against Oregon. That's when we find out just how good this Hoosier team really is. Cignetti is one hellavu coach!
  21. This has turned out to be a freaking track meet! Irish up 42-23, early in the third quarter. Not much defense on either side.
  22. The 1:31 that's left will be tacked onto the 2nd half. They are considered at halftime break now after the hour+ of lightning delay.
  23. His defense has been bad so far this season! Thank God for the offense, and not just in this game. Except for the fumble, the Irish offense has been clicking, and running the ball has made that happen. It's good to see Mark Zackery playing and playing well!
  24. His defense been bad so far this season! Thank God for the offense, and not just in this game. Except for the fumble, the Irish offense has been clicking, and running the ball has made that happen.
  25. Well, that series answered my question. The Irish defense ain't stoppin' anyone this year, until Marcus takes over the defense. That drive should be embarrassing to the Irish!
