I just thought of something, which in itself is amazing, that the Colts NFL off season ended a couple of Sundays ago.

Not many "peasants" at Notre Dame. Your family has a lot of money or you have academic or sports skills that lead to a scholarship. I didn't have either.

I'm old enough to have seen Bob catch in the minor leagues. He was quite the character even back then. He made Major League and Major League II must watches for me. And his appearances on The Tonight Show, with Johnny Carson, were legendary. He was one of a kind! RIP!

I don't know if that works with a digital radio, mine is an analog. I have to dust it off once in awhile.

I have a 30 year old boombox and I mute games and listen to the radio commentary, which is usually about 30 seconds sooner than the TV. It works for me.

IMHO, it's the GM who hires/picks the players, including the QB. He's to blame and he even admits it. He hasn't had a clue since Andrew left the team abruptly before the 2019 season. Bad time to "retire!"

Coach Freeman isn't leaving Notre Dame anytime soon! It's the perfect situation for him and I believe he's compensated enough to take care of his needs, and those of his family, quite nicely.

I'm not a gambler, but I'd take Notre Dame and 9.5 all day long. tOSU wasn't that impressive beating Texas, imo. Of course I'm mighty biased! The early Saturday Espn radio personalities, I didn't get their name, but they were already crowning the Buckeyes as Champions. They were quite brutal about it too.

The only two teams to defeat IU this season are in the CFP Championship game.

It's kind of ironic that a late game QB turnover decided both semis. tOSU had to struggle to get this one. Hopefully there's no late game QB turnover by the Irish in the final. I didn't watch all of the game tonight but it seemed like Texas had a pretty good game plan. And I know the Irish will have a good one too. Going to bed early tonight.

IMO, Ballard doesn't have a clue how to turn things around. He's lucky Jimmy likes him for some reason. It ain't for his football knowledge, that's been proven.

Texas and tOSU are tied all with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. I really don't care who wins.

That may have been on of the best team victories this old man has ever seen. RL just put it best that a lot of players had a huge hand in getting to Atlanta.

He was faked down by Greathouse, who had a great game! Jeter has had a tough year with a groin injury. It's good to see him come through. Coach Freeman never lost trust in him.

What a game! Maybe God is Irish! He wouldn't let his Mother's team lose tonight! On to Atlanta to play for the Natty! I'm glad I took my blood pressure medicine before the game! I can't wait 'til a week from Monday. It doesn't matter who the Irish play!

Another two wrap around scores for the Irish. Three at the end of the half, and seven to start the 2nd half. That shot on Evans may have been a target, but no call.

It's less than two hours to the first semi! The Irish had their customary 7 day turnaround and Penn State had a couple of extra days due to the schedule and the unforeseen circumstances. I believe that won't have much bearing on this game. Both teams know how big this one is. GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!

North Dakota State 35, Montana State 32. NDSU led 21-3 at halftime, but Montana State cut it to three but the NDSU held on. It was a fun game to watch. Montana State had too many errant passes and too many drops.

Well, the Colts finally canned Gus Bradley. He should be one of many but it's a start. It's also being reported that Colt receiver Michael Pittman Jr. played this season with a fractured back. How about that Anthony Richardson?

I've watched some of the FCS playoffs and I've been impressed with Montana State. I'll probably watch at least some of that game tonight.
