    I thought I'd have two Indiana teams to root for, and then they get paired. I'm not a prognosticator, but the Irish are 7.5 point favorites at this point and that may be in the ballpark. IU experienced the Horseshoe, but they've not experienced Notre Dame Stadium. I'm hoping it's full of Irish fans and it's as loud as it was back in the day. GO IRISH!!!!!

    I was a Butler fan way back in the 1960's It was easy to get a ticket and see some top notch teams come to the Butler Fieldhouse. Remember Jeff Blue and Gerry Williams? I saw Michigan, DePaul and Ohio State and more play the 'Dogs. Then they get a bit better and go to a couple of final fours, and now they charge $10 just to park in the Fieldhouse lot for high school football. It seems they've gotten the big head.😝

    The Hobart Brickies were tough in the past also. I remember one Saturday afternoon in the late 60's or early 70's when they beat Cathedral 51-0 (IIRC) at the Butler Bowl.

    UNLV finished in the final CFB top 25rankings. This might be a good hire. We shall see.

    December 20th, 8PM, should be a huge advantage to the home team! Lots of time to game plan and get healthy! Of course that works for both teams. It looked like IU was the better team early on in the season, but the Irish got a lot better as the year went on. It won't be easy, but the Irish should overcome.

    IU at Notre Dame. It seems a shame that one of the state's CFP teams will be out after the first round. Alabama out, SMU in. One three loss team, Clemson, was enough I guess. No one seems unbeatable.

    Some people aren't taking into consideration that the Hoosiers were losing to the same teams they were waxing this season, in the near past. It was just last year that they lost to Purdue, for example. This is a huge turnaround no matter who was on the schedule and Coach Cignetti must get credit for that. He actually helped put fans in the stands!

    Jaron has received offers from Wake Forest, Minnesota, Georgia Tech and Louisville so far, among others. He's also open to return to Purdue if he's comfortable with the new coaching regime.

    Since we're throwin' around of names for the next Boilermaker's coach, how about Urban Meyer. He's about due to get the coaching itch again and maybe he'd like to build a program from scratch. Just a thought.

    Cathedral beat Bishop Chatard 31-7, at BC. New Pal also beat Bishop Chatard but had to scuffle to do so. 6A is a tough go. Oh, and we'll get to see the New Pal prowess in 5A next year. I'm sure they'll be their normal best, but Cathedral has a lot of good players returning. We shall see.
