I wouldn't watch either if it wasn't for Jaron Tibbs. He actually dropped a ball that he got his hands on last Friday night. I haven't seen that from him at all. It wasn't an easy catch, but I've seen him make it numerous times.
I just scanned through the members of the HOF, all worthy. But I wonder why Cathedral's Otis Shannon isn't included? He held several rushing records for many years.
With all the wannabes losing today, IU has a chance to make the playoffs. They should have no problem with Purdue next week. 11-1 should be good enough, and a good half against a top ranked tOSU.
Final, Oklahoma 24, Alabama 3. 'Bama has lost to Vanderbilt and a very bad Oklahoma team. Maybe they won't be included in the playoff. Stay tuned though.
Notre Dame 28, Army 7 at the half! The Irish just need to have another good half.
BTW, maybe Jeremiah Love should be in the Heisman conversation. He's had a phenomenal season!
Purdue is showing some life! I know, it's hard to believe. They're only down 24-17 with about 12 and a half minutes left, and they have the ball. Stay tuned.
Bottom line is, if the Irish can't win against Army and USC, they have no business being in the playoffs. Not that either will be easy, but those games are very winnable.
Not a bad weather night for the games. It could be a lot worse, like last night. There's no sign of snow in most of central Indiana. Good luck to those still playing!
Most of the snow is gone on the westside of Indy. It looks like a pretty normal day for this time of the year. Temperature is well above freezing now and expected to get into the 40's before the day is out.
