    IMO, the real travesty is Jaron Tibbs not being named as Mr. Football Wide Receiver. He was the best wide receiver in the state of Indiana! Oh well, maybe he'll be named Mr. Football.

    Pyne was never the answer for the Irish, and he never was treated badly at Notre Dame. You seem to have a burr up your behind when it comes to the Irish. Pyne left because he knew he didn't have the talent to compete.

    I'm only surprised a bit that TCU retained a PO spot after losing in their championship game and winning almost all games within a score or two the whole season. Not much dominance. I guess just winning was enough. USC didn't get the same respect as TCU either. Alabama lost two games on the last play, one in OT.

    Families have a tough choice to make. Some just can't afford parochial/private schools, and other just choose to send their kids to public schools for many reasons, some of the reasons being due to no tuition. Sometimes the families let the students make the decision.

    Buchner will be the QB in the Bowl Game for the Irish if healthy. Pyne, of course, won't play. It was a very up and down year for Pyne. He looked overmatched quite a lot during the season. No way he would have been the starter this year had Buchner not gotten injured. And he wasn't going to be the Irish QB of the future. It's good for him to move on.

    I found the broadcast on an Indy station. I'm hoping that Bally Sports has replays of all the games, like they have in the past. I'd like to see the game, even though I know the outcome.
