It's ironic, at least to me, that no one in the Colts press mentioned that Terry McLaurin could have been a Colt, but Ballard whiffed on the pick. Hometown McLaurin has more than 250 NFL receptions, and Parris Campbell has a couple or three dozen receptions. I do realize that Campbell had had injury problems. Also, Frank and Jimmy let go of the OC today, Marcus Brady, and traded Nyheim Hines to the Buffalo Bills. I'm sure this will help straighten out the Colts offensive problems. I'm happy for Hines! The Colts receive 24 year old RB Zach Moss from the Bills.

I'm a hockey fan, in fact hockey and auto racing are my two favorites. I did see Wayne Gretzky score his first professional goal in 1978, while with the Indianapolis Racers. I was a Racers season ticket holder at the time. I hate Nelson Skalbania!

The Irish got their mojo back and win 41-24. Estime ran for 123 yards. OL play was outstanding today.

The Irish have gone soft and the lead is down to 24-17 in short order. Pyne has become a mannequin out there. He just holds the ball. All true. They run the ball effectively and now Pyne refuses to throw to anyone but the primary read. It's got to change or this game will be a disaster!

If you had your wish, LN probably wouldn't have "qualified" for the playoffs and LC either. I believe both, with losing records, are worthy of being in the playoffs. There's nothing wrong with the current all-in system that warrants 11 pages of discussion, imho.

I forgot to mention that Cathedral running back Carson Johnson had a career night tonight. He carried the ball 33 times for 226 yards and two TD's. Most of his yards were tough yards too!
