I am not disparaging Wentz. I'm just answering those who have a different opinion about his competency. I have not brought up the anti-vac thing in this thread at all. I made a post that Wentz didn't play well the last two games after testing positive. That's just stating facts. If you're a Wentz fan, more power to you, but he deserves some of the blame for the last two losses of the season.
I hope the Colts don't have to scuffle to take care of the Jaguars this week. History says that won't be the case, though.
I'm at home being a keyboard jockey, watching some games. Not many good games on my side of town this weekend. It's strange to be at home tonight, in the middle of September. And we will not be going to Hammond next week either. Next up for my little group will be Cincinnati LaSalle at Arlington, two weeks from tonight.
I hope everyone has a good game night tonight!
I have to agree with your assessment! Green can backfire in his instance. No gimmicks needed for this game, just pay attention to detail and hit anything that moves on the other side of the ball!
Some teams just have confidence that their offense can move the ball no matter the field position. I have no problem with a fair catch, it's just part of the game.
Yeah, they beat Jacksonville.
He was a target of is own bad play, especially in the last two games. Granted, he didn't have the receivers he has now, but backhanded passes don't work too often, especially in your own endzone.
It was good to see the Colts finally
It was good to see the Colts finally pull the plug on Hot Rod. When you don't do your job well, you suffer the consequences. Not only did he miss the game winner, he kicked two kickoffs out of bounds in critical situations.
I guess Wentz played quite well after testing positive. Or was that just a coincidence. No one in the press has mentioned his two INT's last Sunday also. I wish him well in Washington. He has some legitimate receivers this season, I give him that.
Cathedral Defensive Coordinator, Adam Barth, is as good as it gets. And Adam has been doing a great job for the Irish for quite some time. Of course, he has some outstanding positional coaches too, some that have also been with the Irish a long time.
Any college team could have given Notre Dame a good game Saturday. The effort level was about as low as I've ever seen it in ND Stadium, and I've seen a lot of games up there, in person and on the tube.
Yes, Marshall looked good but we must take into consideration the team they were playing. That was not a typical Notre Dame effort, especially at home.
The Colts are well within FG range now in OT. A kick wins.
Blankenship on to kick for the win. Colts TO. About a 42 yard attempt.
Kick is no good!
Texans still have 1;57 to try to win it.
I totally agree with your assessment. Parris Campbell's selection over Terry McLaren is the best example of Ballard's inability as GM.
Nice comeback for the Colts!
I agree that Frank's not much of a coach, but Wentz was not worth a dime of what was paid for him. I could give some examples, but we all know what they are.
It appears that the Colts will continue the tradition of losing the first game of the season. They have moved the ball at times but can't seem to find the endzone. We've seen that act before.
