    After the off week, we do play at Hammond Morton, and I've been advised by some knowledgeable folks to not waste my money driving to Hammond for that one. It will be the first Irish game I've missed, by my own will, in quite a while. I can't believe I'll have two consecutive Fridays at home during football season! My wife will not like this!

    Yeah, the defense is OK, but the offense is stagnant. I hope this gets taken care of at halftime. I hope this is just a temporary letdown from last week.

    I agree! There are more receivers on the field besides #87 too! Give Pyne the 2nd half start. It can't be much worse. I kind of hope this turns out to be like the Cathedral/Penn game when the Irish came alive in the 2nd half, but I'm kind of worried about this one.

    Not a good performance from the Irish today. Maybe a letdown from last week. Buchner looks really bad. It looks like they'll be behind Marshall at halftime.

    I've seen a lot of Cathedral QB's in my time, dating back to the mid 1950's, and Danny may be the best of 'em! He's an exceptional talent! He's become better about seeing the field and picking out open receivers this season. And it helps that he has a lot of big and talented receivers. I do wish the Irish would stop changing players numbers. It's hard on an old fan like me to keep up.☺️

    I've also been told that many schools will not play the Irish at Arlington. For some it's the grass field, and for others it's the neighborhood. The field should not be of any concern because Turf Dogs do an outstanding job of keeping the field in great shape. The rain prior to the Center Grove game last season was the exception, and there's nothing that can be done about that much rain.

    I would think there will be a scrimmage Friday night to keep the routine. I think it's a shame that the Irish couldn't find an opponent. Maybe teams just don't want to play at Arlington. I don't have the answer for sure. After watching the replay last night, it was good to see the Irish play a total game. They were good on both sides of the ball, and there's still room for improvement.

    Cathedral 38, Bishop Chatard 0, final The Irish had a 35-0 lead at halftime and the mercy rule kicked in for a very quick 2nd half. Good luck to the Trojans the rest of the season. Hot Dog!

    The Irish played well and Coach Peebs got a chance to play a lot of players. The Irish are off next week. They couldn't find a game for week 5.

    The game will be on channel 40 WHMB at 7PM on the net and 10PM on a delayed basis on TV. It's also on SRN network, and both are free. It's also on 1260AM radio live.

    Good to see some spirited conversation about this game. Catholics vs. Catholics is never easy. I do hope the Irish are healthier than last week. Lots of good players didn't play. Although it did give some young players a chance to get some valuable experience.

    Most years this is a close, hard fought game. It will be interesting to see if that is the case this year. I would guess it will be.

    It's Tibbs, Jaron Tibbs. Yes they are both talented. Tibbs has already committed to Purdue and, after seeing their style against Penn State, he should help them immensely if Brohm is still there. Danny O'Neil is also a very special talent. I'm sure glad that Coach Peebles was open to play a sophomore QB last year.

    I think Brohm messed up! Throwing the ball, up three, with less than 5 minutes to play is okay, if you're throwing safe passes. Throwing the ball deep on most plays was just not good, imo. I guess he just doesn't believe he has a running game. They didn't run much the entire game. You need a bit of balance.
