I agree that IU just doesn't have the depth. Next man up just isn't good enough this year.

Another scuffling win. It's not that much fun watching the Irish this season. They're way too inconsistent. The defense was awful and twice the offense couldn't score from inside the red zone and settled for FG's. Lots of work left to be done. Navy up next.

Jack Coan seems to have grown some legs in the past week. His mobility is much better and he's even running the ball on designed plays.😊

Nice win for the Colts in the elements Sunday night. Frank even let Wentz throw the ball late in the game with a lead! Tomorrow's game with Tennessee is BIG!

Tough loss for the Hoosiers today. Third string freshman QB McCulley had a decent day but the defense wasn't up to par.

Totally agree with both of you. Brohm seemed like the right hire for a short time, but it's obvious consistency just ain't happening.

I'm thankful that USC is pitiful. I hope they continue in the 2nd half.

Pete Carroll made USC get sanctioned after he high tailed it north and to a different League. He won a lot but he left a lot of damage behind when he skeedaddled.

I'm not defending Notre Dame, Bob, I'm pointing out that Cincinnati is good, really good. I'm not sure there's enough really good teams to keep Notre Dame out of the final 12 however, but I have no illusion that the Irish are Championship quality this year.

You might be correct, but that's not what I was told, by someone I believe is a reliable source. Anyway, we will find out in a couple months. -
And you should be a lot less militant about telling folks to donate to the site! And if telling someone this is not the place to vent your political beliefs is militant, heaven help you!

I'm an old retired man, cancer survivor and CHF survivor. If I had expendable cash I'd be delighted to support this site. I'm lucky to be able to get to the games. Maybe you should remember that all folks aren't financially sound before you go accusing them of free loading.
