Monrovia had to rehaul the schedule a bit due to Conference changes, with only 6 teams in conferece for 2025/2026, we need to more out of conference games. Out of conference games for Monrovia are Cascade, Linton, Kokomo and Bedford North Lawrence, to go with Conference Opponents, Beech Grove, Speedway, Triton Central, Indian Creek and Tri-West

"I would believe he would also call his tenure at Warren unsuccessful" What you believe to be Coach K's assessment of his coaching tenure at WC and what his actually assessment is are 2 totally different things. You act as if you coach HS Football or have any knowledge of doing so, or what it takes to do so. Ill do you one better, I WOULD SAY that he would find his coaching tenure quite the success if the young men he coached moved on to being better human beings in life. Not only was he the HC of WC Football, he is also the AD at WCHS. Despite what the public thinks, being a football coach is SO MUCH MORE than Wins and Losses. Been around this block for quite awhile, grew up on the eastside, graduated from WC, I dont need a history lesson.

Saw and spoke with Coach K this weekend as he was at the Monrovia Womens Wrestling Tourney this weekend. Decision was his to leave the HFC position, but staying on as the AD for WCHS. They are still in search for their candidate.

If only we had use of instant replay, or if coaches even noticed it to challenge. These are things that happens in games every week. The officials cannot and will not see everything. As far as the grass field is, well, probably the reason we have a grass field at Monrovia(and cost), it just gives us an edge now these days that didn't exist a few years ago. Now that alot of teams all have field turf, having to come play on grass is just that much more advantageous.

yes, they have the one gate that leads from their new building for both locker rooms, normally we enter the gate before they do, and just run to our sideline, instead of staying in that end zone Linton though, does use the opposite side of the field from that gate to warm up, so thats nice they dont make the opponent go to the opposite end. We have never had a problem entering the same gate as Linton does, now the fans in the end zones, well they are a different story all together. But watching the game last night, i gotta give it up to Linton, great game, never lost focus, didn't let anything in the game get them down and just kept playing. Great game by both teams. Only 2 opponents Monrovia lost to are playing for a State Title appearance. Good Luck

After the game, there was a Linton Fan waving a towel and filming the walk thru line yelling at players, not sure who he was yelling at, but was funny to see him removed from the field by who I assume was the AD. That is why fans belong in the stands and not standing on the field or end zones.
